I haven?t been here for a year or so and I used to get their hainanese chicken rice all the time, it wasn?t the best but I knew... what I was buying into. Then today I got the hainanese chicken rice and it is completely different from the photo and from whatthey used to serve. The chicken was fatty, it wasn?t even turmeric rice it was plain white old rice and the they put a largeamount of random ginger sauce all over the chicken soaking in two inches of oil. The preserved egg chicken soup was tasty but a little too salty. Good portion size. Terrible take-out packaging! The lid for the... soup doesn?t close all the way no matter how hard it?s pressed down. This place used to be good (couple years ago). Recently I went back again & quality is not the same anymore. The Hainanese... chicken laksa was terrible. The soup and noodles were OK, but the chicken!! They were bits and pieces of chicken meatcontaining soft cartilage / small bones. I had to spit out something almost every bite. I feel like these are leftover chunksfrom making Hainanese chicken rice. I've had this laksa from other Bubble Waffle Cafes, they use whole piece of bonelesschicken meat neatly cut into 5-6 pieces. It was my first time, looks good and tasty in the photo but worse when i ordered. The chicken was not even heated, as cold as a... dead meat, obviously it was pre-cooked and left it in the fridge, but at least they must have exerted efforts to RE-HEAT it. Buti was still glad i got 2 pieces of small cut of broccoli (sorry for my sarcasm), all these for $11. Read more

Did not have a good experience here today. It's already been awhile since I last ate here, but this place has definitely not... improved since. Even though their service was really rushed, what got me ticking was the fact that I ordered my drink with lessice and less sugar like I would usually do. They asked me to choose between their premade options. Basically with lots of ice orno ice. After I called them out and chose neither, they begrudgingly made me a new one and had the audacity to tell me to takeit or leave it. Not wanting to escalate things further over a drink, I decided to keep quiet and just accept the fact I wasgiven my drink order 3/4 full. (See photo) Honestly, I really don't mind paying more for something I want, but to take my order,and asking me to accept something that wasn't full or to my satisfaction was really disappointing. If that's the way they wantto do business by skimping out on the drinks to save a few cents, then good luck to them. I'm taking my future business to thecompetition across the food court, Mr. Steak.
