Such amazing comfort food, tried the Eggplant caprese (a bit dry), El Cubano (highly recommend), perogies, and Mac and cheese... (highly recommend). Will be visiting again. The food felt like a warm hug. Read more

Intimate atmosphere with dim lighting in the evening. Great customer service, the waitress checked in to make sure I was... enjoying my meal. I got the French onion soup and the mini Mac and cheese, both were so cheesy! Mac and cheese was creamy but alittle bland, and the French onion soup was a bit too salty. An overall good experience. Go here for lunch during work all the time. The soup, salad and sandwiches are all very good. They always have really good... service and always very friendly. Pricing is like slightly high and it adds up quickly but the quality is really good all thetime. Read more

Comfort food does not have to mean poor quality. But that's what this restaurant seems ok with. The last three times I ordered... delivery: once there was grit in the salad that made it entirely unappealing to finish and probably a health hazard; once was okbut nothing memorable in terms of quality; and last night the beef bouguignon was almost all unappetizing gristle and virtuallyno beef. This is not comfort food... It's barely food. Read more

So much cheesy goodness. We loved everything we ate here. I had the After School Special which is an upscale grilled cheese... and tomato soup. Omg. So good. My friend has Mac and cheese and loved every bite. We finished our meal with churros andchocolate sauce and it was all so very good. Read more

Service: ?????????? Food: ???????? Drinks: ? Seating/space: ???????? Service has almost always been friendly even when things... get quite busy. Have tried most of their food offerings and nothing will really blow you away but everything is generally goodquality and worth trying. My go to is the after school special with their crab bisque. Unfortunately cannot comment on theirdrinks as I have yet to try. Ample seating and patio space is also available when offered. Read more

The atmosphere and cottage-like coziness is why I always come back. As they say, they definitely have comfort food, no arguing... with that. I do believe prices are slightly high as it is comfort food the end of the day, and the portions are not anythingcrazy. If you haven't been I do recommend - I recommend even if you have. I will be back! Their Mac and cheese is very popular,I was not personally amazed by it, but it was good! Read more

Put this one on ice ice baby.... This is a death story of a restaurant being crushed under pressure. I used to frequent Burgoo... quite often but I won't be returning anytime soon. I try to keep most of my reviews positive so let's start with the good. Macand Cheese was top shelf as always. Probably amongst the best in Vancouver. It took about 30 minutes to come out. The not sohot was that it took almost an hour to get out soup and sandwiches after. I can appreciate that most places are busy withtakeout and we are actively in a pandemic but the patio dining is put to the back of the queue for orders. There was othertables around that seemed to get their orders in a reasonable time but that wasn't our experience. When the meal arrived it wasclearly slapped together. As you can see by my photos we recieved just cheese inside bread when we didn't order a grilledcheese. I'm not sure if I should laugh or be offended by this sad excuse for a sandwich. I'm pretty certain the Dos Diablo hadsausage but there was none to be found.... the kitchen apparently said that the sausage was in there but I'll let you judge fromthe photos. I think we can write this place off as a victim of their own success. Somehow when I came here a few weeks ago Ihad a good experience but this one was a huge fail. Read more
