Enjoyed a late lunch with the kids and got to partake in the happy hour menu. It's not as good as it was a few years ago but it... was fair and had a wide variety of eats. Service was average and food enjoyable. The burger and tacos were highlights, frieswere bleh. Great location, lots to do and see in Yaletown and this made for a nice lunch stop. The air conditioning and a coldbrew hit just right during the last heat wave. Read more

Cactus is one of our favorite spots for happy hour drinks and today we decided to visit the Davie St location. This location is... accessible by skytrain and buses. Just a little bit disappointed that one of our steaks turned out to be well done even thoughwe ordered it medium rare but the flavors were still very good. The baja fish tacos are a must-try so please try it. Read more

Food was 10/10 but we had to wait quiet a while for it! The atmosphere was so perfect for a date night. Really good and filling... vegan option. Read more

Was taken here for a birthday dinner so didn't know what to expect. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The waitress who... looked after us during the meal was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent the starter was just right. The main course( I had the Jack Daniels ribs. The meat fell of the bone wonderful. I especially loved the birthday surprise of cheesecake, which unfortunately beat me. Over all a wonderful experience and i will certainly re visit when back in Vancouver from London.Keep up the good work ???? Photos show the starter and cheesecake Read more

Went for happy hour and got the Cajun chicken sandwich which had basically no chicken in it. The Meat was literally thinner than... a tomato. However, otherwise it tasted great and the regular burger looked amazing. Truffle fries were sizzling fresh with agood dip. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Management owned the situation and comped the cajun sandwich. Service wasgreat so we will definitely go back again, but probably try something else on the menu. Read more

This lunch was a real mix of an experience. The vibe of the restaurant, the front staff and the food were good but what really... let it down was the service, which is surprising because Cactus Club is known for it's unyielding standard to service. When wesat down the booth was dirty with the previous guest's left over crumbs on the seat. We ordered a hot water and lemon and my cuphad a lipstick stain on it and we had to chase down our server to replace it. This always surprises me. In college I waitedtables for many years and not to check for such details before you serve is ....well...beyond me. Once she came around toreplace it....It must've been another 15 min just to get a cup of hot water and when it did finally arrive ...she quicklydropped it off and disappeared again and there were no side plates, no cutlery and no napkins and so we had to decorate thetable with the squeezed lemons...actually kinda funny now that I think about it....lol....I mean this is Server Training101. When we asked for it she forgot...again. I ordered the The Med Bowl. It was nice. Many wonderful flavours going on. Thefalafel portion should've been slightly more generous considering that was the main side we picked as the addition to the mealand also it tasted a bit dry. But, the design and flavour pairing was great. The Raincoast Greens Salad I've had many times andstill tasted the same. Fresh, plenty, light and filling...enjoyed it. I guess what I'd like to add here is that no matter howgood your food is; when the service lacks it takes away from all else that is in parallel and harmony. If I wanted a salad justas good or a falafel just as good or maybe even better, I could've stopped by a take out place, paid1/3 the price and been donewith it. Service is everything....you know....in a service based establishment. Read more
