Amazing experience eating here and even spoke with the owner who has an amazing larger than life personality! Fanily run... restaurant is very tidy and clean with great natural lighting on a clear day. Hubby had the Moose - great for the undecidedcarnivore in your life - biscuit, sausage gravy, egg, bacon, fried chicken, and a side of fries. Spices are 100% on point. Ihad the popcorn chicken mash bowl - generous amount food. Will need to sleep these off but so worth it. Meh, not impressed. Food is reason for second star. Not a fan of paying up front for a sit-down meal, especially when tipping is... such an issue nowadays. In fact, I will not be tipping at all after this horrible experience at this 'highly rated' Kits eatery.It is not 4-point-anything, more like 3 at best. After the prepayment issue, one of us had ordered a Chicken burger sans tomatosans pickle. The order was repeated to me, but the instructions were not followed. In addition, when the server brought thefries one of the ketchups fell onto our bench seat, nearly missing both of us. She didn't even notice! How rude! The waitress recommended me the chicken Benny and vegan harsh. It was so unreal. Egg Benedict on top of the fried chicken is... perfectly good, which made the fried chicken didn?t taste dry. While the food is presented beautifully, I don?t think it?s worth it?s really steep price. My 32$ meal consisted of a cup of... orange juice, a pretty nice chicken burger (the sandwiches are for sure the best), and a small side of fries. 4$ for a verysmall cup of orange juice seems real off. Personally I am a spice fiend but there is paprika, and quite a bit of it oneverything you order, so ensure to ask for no paprika if you do not like spice. My friends eggs Benedict was lack lustre due tothe runny whites and the temperature. I?ve been here a few times and I?m sure I?ll return, but it seems like it?s gone down hilla bit since my first visit. Been coming here for takeout lunch for the last month. I pretty much order Cajun Chicken Club, occasionally adding fries and... fried chicken. Every time it?s always been cooked perfectly and very juicy. Even the fried chicken is on another level comparedto most other places. The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is clean with a fresh decor. Would like complementaryside of potato chips or a pickle for the price.
