Hidden gem located at the International Village Mall in Chinatown. Big portions of delicious food at a very reasonable price. ... No frills dining experience. For those who like it spicy, the chili oil is homemade and will kick up your dishes at least twonotches. Wonton noodle, congee, and their crispy rice noodle dish are excellent. Read more

I paid extra for bbq duck plate and they gave less meat than what you would get for the smaller portion.

Tried their Preserved Eggs with Salted Shredded Pork and Chinese donuts the other week. It was so delicious and filling! They do... sell out the donuts really quickly in the morning. So if you plan to visit and want to try congee and the donuts together, makesure you get there early! Cash and debit as payments only. Service was great. Read more

The server was very helpful with my takeout order. I explained the situation about who the people were that I was feeding and... what they like and what they don't like. Going from her own experience, the server picked out the dishes for me. The fried ricewith shredded chicken, lettuce and scrambled egg was delicious. Also the beef and flat noodle and soy sauce dish was great. Theyhave some great selections of congee as well. I finish off the order with some nice barbecue pork. I was lucky to get the lastsurvey of the night. I hear great things about the barbecue duck. You can get it in a rice dish or a noodle dish. Thisrestaurant does run out of some foods at the end of the night so try and get there at least a couple hours before closing. Atleast you know they're not serving you last night's food on the next day. If they don't have what you want, let the server knowand try something different. Read more

Got the century egg and shredded pork congee, as well as a side of Chinese donuts. The donuts were nice and crispy, and the... congee was good as well. The peanuts in the congee were raw, not cooked, so they weren?t very crunchy, sadly. There was morecentury egg than I expected in the congee, and the congee had a nice consistency. Their prices were also very reasonable. I?lldefinitely be back to try their other dishes! Read more

If you're looking for a quick lunch, check out this Chinese restaurant inside Tinseltown mall across from ABC Store. I got the... Assorted Beef Noodle (Brisket, tendon, and stomach) which was delicious and jammed packed with beef. The noodle texture waschewy and I found that the broth was clean to my taste. $9 for a hearty bowl of noodles? Can't really beat that! Other items onthe menu you should try: 1) Pan Fried Shredded Chinese Mushroom with Yee Mein $14.50 - smoky yee mien noodles, great toshare! 2) House Special Seafood Congee (Prawn, scallop, squid, fish, and mushroom) $10, with salted Chinese donut $2.75 -another great item to share! We got the sliced beef congee and noodle wonton soup but preferred the taste of the congee! We also got the salted Chinese... donut, so good to have with the congee. Our whole meal was so cheap! Service was great, there was only one other table there. Goat around 3/4pm, no lines or crowds! Read more
