Arrived Vancouver evening and looked for a nice bowl of pho on a cool night. Ordered a large house special (16), a salad roll... (A3) and a Vietnamese hot coffee (74). Size is big and I couldn?t finish. Sufficient meat and generally ok, although the soup isa bit on lighter side and not hot enough. Only chilli and sweet sauce on table. Lemon/lime slices were too small and can?t bringup the favor. No hot tea supplied and coffee came in take away cup and big size, not dripping type. Salad roll so-so. Pricereasonable. Service prompt and no fuss. Confirm about 4 stars like the average. Good enough for a quick pho. Read more

Big servings, tasty food, and reasonably priced. I always get beef stew if I see it in any menu and this restaurant has the best... one by far. The broth is flavourful and it has so much meat in it compared to the other places who are very stingy. You get waymore than you pay for in my opinion. I recommend getting their egg noodle beef stew over the rice noodle. But both are tasty. Ialso recommend trying their meat skewers and vermicelli rolls. They?re not expensive and honestly just so worth it. Theirportions are huge. I always get their small size and I always end up bringing leftovers because of how big it is. Add an extra$1 and you can get the large size if you know you can finish it or are ready to bring home some leftovers. Their staff are alsofriendly and efficient. Don?t expect high end service though. It?s the type of place where you go because you know you?ll getgood food and nice service. Read more

The best vegetarian lunch I've had in the area! I got the vegetarian tofu vermicelli bowl on a whim and was so pleasantly... surprised! The veggies and tofu were stir fried in a light sauce and arrived to the table SUPER hot and fresh absolutelydelicious. Also fast from walking in the door to leaving was less than 30mins, perfect lunch break Read more

I ordered #61 which is a Vermicelli Bowl with ALL the meats, AND a spring roll....$16 before tax. My favorites of the meats... were the pork patty and pork skewer. If I need meat, I know where to eat. Read more

Restaurant has a stale/sour/pungent smell once you walk in. It hits you the moment you open the door, like it?s not been aired... out for an long period of time and the smells have decided that they?re going to haunt the restaurant. Food: Meh. I ordered alarge steak and brisket pho ($13++) and when it arrived, presentation was underwhelming. Meat pieces sliced very thin and lumpedtogether. Probably sliced, frozen, thawed and then put into the bowl. Pho noodle quality was bad, I?ve had bad pho noodles butthis lacked any ?tangy? and ?chewiness?. It tasted very cheap. Broth was lacking in flavour, light, and lacking that dense spiceflavour. It tasted like extremely watered down broth that has been reboiled and water added every hour or so. Sprouts wereso-so, the lemon probably was frozen/chilled before being served as it broke apart the moment i exerted any form of pressure tosqueeze it. Service: Nothing to rave about. Came in, was seated, wasn?t offered any drinks. Food came and that?s all. Nobodyelse stopped by to ask if drinks were needed. Location: Prime location. Easily accessible. Price: Not going to lie. The pricehere are one of the more reasonably priced restaurants. It looks like they?ve also not increased the prices in a while otherthan the plastic charge. Pho prices range from CAD12-13.50, and Subs are about CAD7-8. Would I recommend? Probably(?) if youare planning to get a quick bite in and out, no fuss, no frills. You get what you pay for in terms of food and service quality. Read more

Let's get down to business, large size pho was only $1 more than the small size, why not. Large size was huge, larger than my... hand size (see photo) Asked to have been sprouts cooked as raw bean sprouts don't cook fast enough in pho broth. Broth couldhave been more flavorful, no hint of cinnamon in the broth base. Pho did get served very hot which his how I like my pho, especially on a cold day. Noodles cooked ok, plenty of protein given. No Vietnamese drip coffee offered, only regular icedcoffee No fish sauce condiment on tables which I thought was strange, asked for fish sauce, the server never came back, finallydid return towards the end of my meal, not good service. Would I come back, no, many other pho places to try. Read more

The restaurant staff has done justice with the taste of Vietnamese Food. Quantity, quality and Value for money. The restaurant... interior needs a bit of work. Quite a busy and popular restaurant. Read more
