I came here for lunch. Their truffle fries are awesome, definitely give it a try. I had the sablefish. Super tender, paired... nicely with the black rice and bok choy. The veggies could use more flavour. Overall, the experience was good. Great atmosphere. My server Brett was very welcoming and friendly. Read more

I went to Diva twice for breakfast during my stay. I recommend it without qualification. The room is smaller but well... appointed. The service on both visits was friendly, crisp, and very welcoming. I tried pancakes and the American stylebreakfast. Both were hotel pricey but well prepared. The hot coffee flowed freely. The to-go cup was appreciated. This is avery well run hotel and restaurant, and I will return at my soonest opportunity. Read more

Bagna Cauda is very good - smooth and flavourful. The bison short rib is okay, a bit disappointed with the texture, but... flavour-wise is alright. The made-in-house parfait calls a good closure too, different layers of taste laminated on top of eachother. The entree is certainly a bit disappointing but overall it?s not bad for dine out vancouver. Read more

We had an amazing Christmas dinner. I checked out several menus online and chose Diva because they offered Lamb Rip Chop as the... 3rd course. But on the actual Christmas night, the menu was not as advertised on their website. They substituted Crab Cake forScallops and Lamb Rib Chop for Warm Vegetable Tart. I suspect the website might have the 2018 menu. Well, I was worried that I'dbe eating too much meat because I would have chosen the Lamb Rib Chop for sure. I guess that solved my problem even though itwas disappointing. The 1st course Butternut Squash Bisque was very delicious. I like my soup really hot and this one was reallyhot ? right to the last spoonful which was a bit tricky because one doesn't expect that and it could be dangerous if oneconsumed it too quickly. The 2nd course Beet Salad was not amazing at all. The greens were somewhat tired and starting to turn. The 3rd Course Seared Sea Scallops With Crisp Pancetta was very good. The scallops were perfectly cooked ? as I don't like myscallops half cooked. The scallops were also perfected seared on top with a beautiful flavour. The 4th Course Filet Mignon wasthe most amazing yet. The quality of the meat was excellent, very tender and smooth and not grainy, the meat was perfectlycooked, I asked for med to med-well which is bound to result in a tougher steak, but mine filet was perfect, pink on the inside, and very tasty on top. I appreciated that only one side of my filet was seared, not both sides. When the Sticky Toffee Puddingarrived, I had no room for it. Overall, we enjoyed the meal. The pace was good because the kitchen took time to deliver eachcourse which really helped the digestion process (even though our server was very concerned about how long everything took). There's not enough vegetables for each course. They like to use micro greens ? a tiny twig for a whole stalk of broccoli ? butthe alkaline-forming diet and fibre department is a very low. I wish we would get a bit more micro green Read more

Came here for a birthday dinner celebration and had an ok meal. Most of us ordered from the tasting menu option. The... appetizers were outstanding. We had the beef carpaccio and scallops and pork belly. As I don't eat pork, the kitchen was veryunderstanding to accommodate my order. They gave me an extra scallop in place of the procuitto, and for the chicken entree theyseparated the bacon so that it could be enjoyed by others. The portion sizes was very good and even generous when compared toother restaurants in this class. The fresh pasta dishes were good but due to timing did not come out hot- likely waiting forthe other dishes. Overall, the entrees were good. Desserts were not very refined and the taste could be improved upon tocomplete the meal. Our server was nice and the venue was quiet. Read more

Restaurant split into two levels, lower level for more casual dining (happy hour, hotel guests) and an upper level for dining.... Went in for happy hour but got seated at the dining level. They allowed us to order some happy hour items, which wasappreciated. Was a bit quiet for a Friday evening, so they might need to make their menu more competitive. I recommend the deepfried cauliflower and wild prawn carbonara! Read more
