Me and my boyfriends loved this place so much until today. No staffs serve people in the restaurant, and people had to walk to... their kitchen side to order the food because there was only 1 staff there. We were waiting for 20mins to have the 1st bite andthis happened? the dosa was very disappointed. There was barely anything inside ? Thanks for changing this order for us in theend, but hope it won?t happen to anyone. Read more

The food was amazing. Everything that we ate was just delicious. Quantity was also good. The only reason I gave 4 stars is... because it had a long wait time and the service time was bit slow, but I also understand that the resto is very busy. It isworth a wait though and will definitely come back but will reserve before coming in. Read more

This was our first time back to Dosa Factory since pre-pandemic times. We used to love coming here on Mondays, (and still do!)... as they have a Dosa Monday special where you can have Dosas for just $6.99 each. Dosas come from South India and are thinpancakes made from lentils & rice. They are huge and can come with a wide assortment of fillings to put inside. My personalfavourite is the Eggplant Dosa but I decided to try something different this time and go with the Mix Veg Dosa. We ordered a fewappetizers as well including the very highly recommended Gobi 65! (Cauliflower marinated with spices) We ordered a plain cheeseDosa for daughter, from the kids menu. They seemed to have forgotten about her order. We had to remind them more than once to gocheck on her order. It took ages for them to bring her cheese Dosa out, and they never offered any kind of apology for the longwait. We were not impressed; however, I strongly believe in forgiveness and second chances, and as we've been here many times inthe past and this is the first time I recall having poor service, I will still give them a "fair" rating for service. Service:Fair Parking: ???? Street parking Location: On Kingsway with lots of other businesses in the area. Read more

Came here on a Monday there was a special on the dosa $6.99 plus free desert. So upon arrival I waited 5 minutes to have some... one even come and acknowledge me as it said please wait to be seated. Then I was told pick any table and since I had not beenhere was not made aware of how they operate. You need to get your menu and cutlery and water from a table?which is not a bigdeal but would have been nice when I was told to get a table to be asked if I have been there before or instructed what to do.After waiting for over 7 minutes I hailed down a server who told me the process. So once I had them menu I waited another 8-9minutes before I asked the waitress if someone could take my order?not to mention the table smelt off putting. The food did comeout super quick once ordered. The food had no taste no salt nothing. The Masala and onion masala dosa were bland as can be?and Ilike bland food so bland like baby bland. The dosa crust was over cooked and super flaky?not the nice crispy type. The desertwas awful. The only good thing I can say was it was cheap?won?t go back? Read more

Finally tried out Dosa Factory. All their dosas (which come with a dessert) are $6.99 on Monday?s. - Lamb palak dosa ($6.99) -... okay but lamb was a touch dry and not much spinach. Flavours were light. - Madrasi style special dosa ($6.99) - a bit moreseasoning/flavour came through. Decent dosas but doesn?t beat out House of Dosa?s offerings. Read more

Real Authentic South Indian restaurant. Since last year visiting once or twice a week. Food is always fulfilling with quality... and prices are really decent. Every single day they have special deal, like any Dosa along with dessert for $7 onMonday. Mostly, I tried authentic South Indian and Indo-Chinese food and all of these was pretty satisfying so far. Staff isreally polite, friendly & always ready for accommodate any special requests. Read more

Stopped by here for a late night meal at the recommendation of a passerby on Kingsway, I was not disappointed. The service was... very friendly and helpful when ordering. Food was great, definitely one of the better Indian places I've dined in at a veryaffordable price. Atmosphere is dated and mundane, definitely not an upscale place nor does it try to be, but the food certainlymakes it taste like it is. Would visit again. Read more
