Tried the Spring Halibut + Peas. The portion was small, but it was pretty filling. The flavor was really good. The restaurant... has a great ambience and a very diverse menu. Read more

Nice lively atmosphere, good food and service. The chicken breast was tender and juicy, absolutely cooked to perfection, a hard... thing to do. Thre only critique I have was the too much cream sauces to point that my mouth was just covered with lots of cream, had to keep wiping my mouth with napkins. Tropucal creme burlee was a hit, the fruits cut through the richness and balanced thedessert nicely. Temperature inside the dining room was a bit cold, forgot to turn up the heat ? Read more

Delicious steak, ribs, and Cajun chicken! Great environment and friendly customer service. A large location with plenty of... seating but I recommend to make reservations. The drinks were also delicious and I would recommend grabbing at least 1 cocktail. It’s not a huge deal, but the kitchen got my orders wrong 2x. I asked to substitute my warm potatoes for mash potatoes. Iinformed the server, but told her I actually ended up enjoying the warm potato. I also ordered a poke to go and asked to replacethe rice with greens. I didn’t check my order before I left and once I got home my request wasn’t granted which was too bad.Hope this doesn’t happen to others, but I will just have to check next time. Read more

Happy hour is the best hour when you're around your homies! We got a bunch of items to share and a white sangria pitcher to... share amongst 7 friends. Highly recommend going for happy hour and save money! The food is 3/5. Typical expensive bar stylefood. The vibe is 5/5 because who doesn't enjoy friends for dinner? Here's what we got to share: - Non alcoholic pineapplecucumber mule: A tasty refresher if you don't drink! 5/5 taste - Crispy prawn sushi taco: Not really a taco. It's just a wontonwrap with sushi rice, mango, fried prawns, with spicy mayo. 2/5 taste - Truffle fries: Super addicting and delicious! 5/5taste - Margherita Pizza: Hit or miss. Tomato sauce was on the salty side. 2/3 taste - Seafood platter: Extremely overpriced.1/5 taste - Warm spinach + three cheese dip: Delicious! 5/5 taste - West Coast Prawn Pizza: A unique tasting pizza with prawns!3/5 taste - Ahi tuna poke bowl: Tasted like any other poke bowl. 3/5 taste Read more

We were in Vancouver for a convention, and were BEAT. Couldn't decide where to eat for our last night. I had walked past this... place on my morning walk and made the suggestion to my new boss. It was a hit. It was EXACTLY what he had been wanting fromVancouver on our dinner outings, but never really received. In my own opinion, yes: this was a proper restaurant, where thefront of house welcomes you, pays attention, gives you what you need to know out of those first couple minutes of firstexperience: (a) can you seat us, and (b) how long. Once that information has been given, they were making subtle but overtactions towards making us pleased. Asking how our evening was, what we're in town for (was it *that* obvious?), etc. When wemet our server, Sophia, our evening got better. She was a breath of fresh air in terms of what we typically experience from aserver. Sophia was traditional, bubbly (can we still use this term?), accommodating, and attentive. She listened to ourstories, and best: followed up with some of her own. The place was crowded and she was no doubt busy. But she still kindasorta hung out with us for the duration of those stories, then whisked away to her other tables. Then back again to of coursecheck in & update us, but more so (to us) was to finish the story or anecdote from the last time, or have us finish ours. Itwas like that warm friendly niece who was serving us. We're from the SF Bay Area: we've all but forgotten what properrestaurant service & experience feels like. Frankly, with some wonderful exceptions, the stench of the server doing YOU a favoris pervasive and popular down here. My boss is a very successful man, and frequents high end establishments on a far moreregular basis than i. And that night, we had business to discuss before we flew home the next day. But half that time wasspent remarking on Sophia; how refreshing it was; how appropriate this current restaurant experience was. And when a restaurant Read more

I never had a place where it took as long as this place to receive our dishes. We waited for almost one hour, and I noticed that... people who ordered after us received their food before us. The servers were very kind though, and the food was delicious. Ialso came with a group of about 30 people and my reservation was at 9, apparently the tables weren’t set yet at 9 and we hadto wait longer. They also didn’t reserve enough seats for us, but we were lucky another booth just finished their dinner rightwhen we walked in so we were able to get their table. We had this reservation for about two months and it surprised me how theyweren’t fully ready for us. Read more
