Great sushi and great drinks. Cool spot if your hungry but also down for some colorful drinks and shots. Owner came by and made... sure everything was going well. Attentive and friendly staff. Uni carbonara is a must try! Read more

Best place around cambie/broadway. It is pricey though, I recommend coming here with a group of 3 or 4 to enjoy the experience.... The quality is unmatched in the neighborhood, you won't find anything better. Staff are very sociable and work hard. Read more

New edit: They have changed name but it’s still the same owner. Along with the change is a modern menu with some new items.... The uni udon is super flavourful, and the aburi sushi still rocks. Good old stomping grounds. Used to come here for Happy Hourafter work many years ago. So glad they’re still doing HH and royal miyagi is still cheap. Recently their sushi offerings haveimproved. They have actually good sushi now and is worth a try. Oh and their truffle fries. Best in all of Vancouver. Read more

Went there for lunch today, not too hungry so I was not interested in their Bento Boxes which are substantial and filling... (besides delicious), and was pleasantly surprised by their lunch menu which had a cold soba and tempura lunch plate - it wasfantastic: The bright matcha-coloured noodles were refreshing with a el-dente-esque texture (done just right) and when dippedinto the light sauce that was tangy and not too salty it was sublime. But also impressive was their presentation - have alook at the photo, sorry I was not taking a foodie picture but had a shot with my guest so I cropped it. Read more

The food is on the more expensive side, and overall, tasted alright. They changed their menu and included new dishes, which are... pretty good, but there are fewer items than before, and the selection of sushi rolls is quite limited. Great staff! Read more

Food's' good. Presentation was good. Service was efficient. There are tables and booths. We had a large party and were assigned... one of those tables with benches that completely surround them. We had a choice between having our elders seated at a separatetable, and helping (maneuvering) them over the benches whenever they needed to climb in or out. But, once seated, we enjoyed thegreat view and the well presented food throughout there evening. Read more

Went to Ebisu for lunch with a friend and it had been awhile since I've visited this restaurant. The lunch menu was pretty... simple, one side of the menu were Bentos that ranged from $16-$18 and the other side was 3 combination meal that was $16 (oreach dish is $6). I decided to go with the 3 combination: Yam roll, salmon sashimi & chicken teriyaki. The yam roll was nice, itwasn't overcooked and still had a slight firmness to it, which I prefer. The salmon was nice and fresh and I did enjoy thepresentation. The chicken teriyaki had a nice crispy skin, the meat was moist and had the perfect amount of teriyaki sauce. Theservice was friendly and we didn't wait long for our food, however we did arrive a few minutes after 12 and did notice a fewpeople coming in shortly after us, so it could get busier around 1 or so. It's a perfect spot for a sit down lunch if you havean hour break. Read more

They only serve lunch specials and 3 for $15 during lunch. I thought there would be choices off the menu but it's for dinner... only. Teriyaki chicken didn't taste like Japanese teriyaki, I was really disappointed. The 'yam' tempura was squash. I'mdefinitely not coming back. Read more
