I found this place on a website listing the best sandwich places in Vancouver. When I browsed their website, I was very... surprised to see that each sandwich was photographed and described. What stood out to me was the quality of the ingredients ofeach sandwich. I?ll start off by saying I don?t like cold sandwiches, baguette bread, tomatoes, prosciutto, olive oil, orvinaigrette. Yet, I decided to order the prosciutto baguette, which is a cold sandwich that comes with prosciutto, lettuce, tomato, Edam, olive oil, vinaigrette, salt and pepper. I was so surprised when my sandwich arrived looking as beautiful as itdid on the website!!! Despite me disliking so many of the ingredients, I loved this sandwich. My boyfriend ordered an avocadobaguette and he loved his baguette, especially the bread. The flavours all combined perfectly. The ingredients were fresh andvery high quality. I like how they?re eco-friendly in that they serve your sandwich on butcher paper so if you?re unable tofinish the sandwich, you can wrap it up to go! I have been raving about this place to everybody I know. I loved the interior ofthe shop and the ambience - you can sit for a while in this low-key shop and catch up with friends. The only thing to be awareof is that there is no bathroom facility so plan accordingly. Vancouver really needs more sandwich places like this one! Icannot wait to return to Finch?s for another sandwich. Read more

Very unique coffee shop with an awesome sandwich menu! Gives an old downtown vibe and is near some old bookstores.

I?ve been dying to try this place and it was worth it. It?s a cute cafe with character. I like how their sandwiches tend to mix... that salty cheese with fruits combination. The baked blue brie was rich. The prosciutto was salty, cheese was creamy andwalnuts added texture. I feel the balsamic balanced it out a bit, but it could?ve used something more refreshing to balance thesalty and richness of the sandwich. I ordered the Brie and Grape, however, they ran out of Brie so they used the blue briecheese instead. I love brie, not so much blue cheese, but I found it to be really good. As mentioned, the walnut makes it morefilling and textured. The grapes balanced the cheese really well, the sweat balanced with the creaminess so it wasn?t too sweetnor salty. I?d say try the blue brie, even if you don?t think you?d like it. It was rich, creamy and not too strong. Thebaguette was good as well of course and they buttered it, to adding that extra addictive taste. Overall, it?s a simple baguettewith not your ordinary toppings. They do a great job of mixing cheese and fruit. This isn?t a big lunch if you?re really hungry, but it?s good if you want something to eat and leave you not hungry, esther than full. The price itself was okay as well. Thisis definitely a place I?d come back to try their other sandwiches and worth going a bit out of your way if you?re craving asandwich! Read more

They really know flavour combinations well and each ingredient complements the other. I usually don't like blue cheese, but I... enjoyed the blue brie in their prosciutto, blue brie and pear sandwich. The baguette was a little tough to be honest, but itmight've been because I had it to go. It was also very messy to eat. The interior has a vintage aesthetic and looks like a verysunny spot for a mid-day break, but there are few seats and it can get filled up pretty fast. Read more

I felt so lucky to came here earlier. I ordered briesalad with prosciutto. It was great. I would like to try some sandwiches too. Read more
