I was completely taken aback by how delicious the food here was. The chanterelle mushrooms were to die for. My partner and I... loved them. As well as the oysters, squash croquettes, bison steak. The service here was excellent - our server was Clayton andhe made fantastic suggestions, made us feel right at home and was a delight to be around. I’m not a drinker and he recommendedthe apple ginger for me which was just quite lovely. 11/10 - would highly recommend. Read more

The pancakes I had were divine! The flour was moist and fluffy, the berry sauce between each pancake added a perfect tartness to... each bite, which balanced well with the syrup. My favorite pancakes I've had in quite awhile, if not ever! I'll love to visithere again on another visit in the future. Read more

Overall the food here is okay but perhaps not worth the hype in my opinion. We enjoyed the mushroom appetizer way more than the... bison short rib (too dry for me) and the tuna (too salty). The service was lacking given that two of our dishes were forgottenso we waited about more than an hour for the two dishes. They did waive the two dishes from the bill, that was nice of them. Had an amazing anniversary dinner. The server was very pleasant and helpful with menu suggestions. We tried a number of dishes... - definitely a place to share food. The pan bread, the Bison steak and the gnocchi were delicious, including the cheese puffdessert. Read more

Overall, I really enjoyed the brunch food here. The eggs were super fresh and cooked to perfection. I was pleasantly surprised... by the bison hash which was perfectly seasoned. The dishes had good, big portion sizes and the meals felt hearty and filling. Iwas most excited about the twice cooked potatoes, but they weren't as crispy as described and came with an off-puttingly sweetketchup. Also, beware that if you sit in the patio area on a nice day, it gets unbearably hot with no shade so you should opt tosit indoors. Lots of street parking available in this area. We were able to find a spot right out front on a Sunday at 10am. Read more

I went for dinner and in my experience is better option coming here for brunch. In general pretty good food with local... ingredients, great service, but a little bit pricey. Got the local grains, the albacore tuna, and the duck. Everything slightlysmaller that you’d expect for the price, but taste was good Read more

The service is good! We were promptly seated and the drinks came quickly. The food was a little underwhelming for the price,... though. We got the bison platter, which was filled with all kinds of goodies. The brisket was flavourful and our favourite outof all the dishes. The carpaccio was rather bland, as were the mushrooms. The bread that came with the platter was dense anddry. The sable fish was soft, though, and perfectly cooked. The pan bread was unique; something we hadn't tried before anywhereelse. I would say it's definitely not bread like, if you were expecting that, but it was still good in its own way. The chowderwas delicious but rather small, and had very little shrimp/crab in the toast. Overall, I have mixed feelings about the food. Ifeel the reviews here raised my expectations a little too high. I'm hoping the brunch will be better! Read more

Wow, what a feast at Forage our friend treated us to earlier this week when visiting Vancouver! The Dine Out menu is such a... steal for a delicious prix fixe meal. You can opt for wine pairings, and bar manager & sommelier Peter will not disappoint withthe amazing selection of British Columbia wines available in the restaurant. Not many are pictured here, because I focused onthe food for photography, but the combination created such an excellent evening of celebration of great local food, beverage, and friendships. That duck pastrami! The duck, prawn, and crab chowder! The sticky toffee pudding! Read more
