Excellent service and food. Burgundy beef fondue and escargot. The portions were more than enough for two. Herve and Philippe... were very kind with our two dogs, too. Excited to come back. Read more

So happy to discover this gem. Excellent food. The escargo, scallops and cheese fondue were tasty and perfectly portioned - and... the wine list extensive. Our server Bruno, classy, friendly and well humoured, kept our fondue bubbling and our imaginationspeaked with stories of his world travels. Originally from Algeria and working Parisian restaurants in his youth he has had aremarkable life. Can’t wait to try more dishes. Read more

French Table offers relatively less common dishes. Sweet bread appetizer was interesting... as it tasted like chicken to... me. Calf liver with onions and bacon was satisfying filling. Read more

We had brunch here. We ordered the Benedict eggs, ham for me and smoked salmon for my friend. The hollandaise sauce was great... and the eggs perfectly cooked. I took one star off because we found that the sauteed potatoes were too greasy and would haveappreciated a more generous plate. We will probably come back to try the dinner menu. Read more

We came in on Sunday Feb 13 with the anticipation of the Valentine's Day set menu. Long story short, there was a... miscommunication between Herve and I and we couldn't get the Valentine's Day set menu as it was only offered for Monday Feb 14thonly. A bit disappointed for us at first because we had our hopes up and had cancelled a previous reservation to be at theFrench Table. Let me share with you how thoughtful, kind, and considerate Herve was to us; above and beyond. Because the Feb 14menu was not ready, Herve offered us some of the items that were ready. He did not have to do that but I truly appreciate andrecognize the effort he made to try to compromise. In the end, the Feb 14 items and regular menu did not catch our appetitesbut luckily for us, the French Table were offering specials that night. For appetizers, we had the French Onion soup and thescallops for starters. Hearty broth and gooey cheese with each bite. As for drinks, we had a glass of house red and whitewine. For the mains, we had the Pan-seared skirt steak with paprika butter sauce and the Beef Wellington. Oh my goodness, itwas the best; cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths. My partner shared a piece of her Beef Wellington with me and laterregretted giving me too big of a piece. For dessert, we had the Tart Tartin and the Creme Caramel. Nice, light, and not toosweet to finish off. It was a blessing in disguise. We had a fantastic Valentine's day dinner and couldn't be happier; untilHerve topped it off even more that night. Due to the miscommunication of the Feb 14th menu, Herve came by to our table toexpress his sincerity and apologies of the situation and personally handed us his homemade Blackcurrant jam from his farm inAldergrove. How sweet is this guy? We left the French Table that night with our bellies and hearts full. The one thing Irequest of Herve is to share when his team will make the Beef Wellington and Skirt steak specials again because we aredefinitely co Read more

We came here for the first time and we were impressed. I felt like I was dining at a Parisian restaurant with delicious... traditional French dishes. Everyone was impressed with the food. For starters, we had French onion soup & seared scallops. Acouple of us ordered the frites and mussels and the rest had steak and calf liver. The meal ended with to die for desserts - pear almond tart, chocolate profiterole and crème brulee. They offer a great selection of wine, menu items, and fondues. Themust order dishes are onion soup, frites and mussels, and chocolate profiteroles! We dined on a week night and found they onlyoffered two sittings that night. A tip: make reservations and save room for dessert! They offer brunch, lunch, and dinner hours. If you want affordable and delish authentic French food, French Table is the place. Read more

Had a lovely Sunday brunch here. Very relaxing as the place is quiet and not too busy. Excellent services and delicious food.... Onion soup is very authentic. However, the waffles are a little too soft and chewy for our likings. Read more
