The staff here is super friendly and always willing to share their knowledge and experience especially when I'm undecided or... unsure on what to try. I love that so many of their products are from local and sustainable sources. The decor inside the shopis great and gives off a genuine & authentic seafood vibe. I'll continue returning to F.I.S.H. for all my seafood needs! Theirquality cannot be beat! Read more

I live close by and like coming here for their black cod . The store is not big but they have different variety of frozen... seafood and other prepared food.I have tried their seafood congee ,seaweed rice wrap and Poka bowl .The Price is reasonableand they all tasted good. I also bought their frozen seafood pancake but I don?t like the texture and they lack of flavor Myfavorite are the frozen black cod and miso black cod , so far they have not disappointed me and I love coming back for them. The BEST poké bowl I?ve ever eaten in my life and I?ve had many in North America. I was served FRESH ingredients and the server... was super generous when it came to the portions. FYI- Uni was not a topping you could add on the bowl, it needs to be purchasedseparately. Totally worth the price, it was fresh as hell! FISH also has a small pantry of kitchen staples such as soya sauceand Japanese snacks. I?ll be back next time I drop by Vancouver again! Read more

I?ve had their Bouillabaisse kit and their FISHcuterie and both were very good. I most recently tried the FISHcuterie and had it... delivered. It had a four hour window of delivery and it came three hours in without ice and feeling room temperature. When wecalled, the manager apologized and offered to personally deliver a new order promptly. When it came, it was packed with ice andcool to the touch. The seafood they use is really good and fresh. The prawns are huge and the variety of fish they use is good. The food looks just like the website pictures. The only negative is the cost. It?s a little steep, but it is convenient and thekits come with simple instructions. I?m looking at trying the hotpot or poke kit next. Read more

I had a craving for fresh uni and this place was recommended to me. The service was excellent, but somewhat in a low-key ?it?s... pricey but high quality? way. I didn?t mind. I ended up buying a tray of uni ($27), 100 g of ikura ($4) and a 2kg bag ofJapanese rice ($17). Everything tasted great. My only disappointment was, for my IG photo shoot, that ?tray? of uni was allpiled up in a small container in small pieces, even though I was shown a nicely displayed tray of separated (larger) pieces andmake to think that?s what I?d be getting. (There were an equivalent of 14 large pieces of uni in the container; one at the verybottom was discoloured, but tasted fine.) Read more

This is the place to be for all seafood lovers in Vancouver. I would go here everyday if I could! They have a good variety of... the best seasonal fish you can find in BC, and probably in the world. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get (Thinkabout it, cheap fish usually = old, stinky, gross) From this store I have tried: 1. Sashimi grade tuna, salmon, prawns - soFRESH, flavourful, sweet (you can make your own chirashi bowl - see pic) 2. Soy sauce Ikura - little bursts of heaven (thesealso made it to my chirashi bowl) 3. BC Dungeness crab - sweet and delicious, we made a tasty bouillabaisse using a whole craband their halibut broth 4. Crab cakes - they do the work for you, just throw on a pan and have delicious crab cakes ready inminutes - these are heavy on the crab, light on the breading (which is how it should be) 5. BC clams - fresh briny flavor, soyummy on pasta 6. House made coconut seafood chowder - great depth of flavour, portable and easy to prepare (took this up to themountains for a ski weekend - just heat it up!) 7. Nova scotia lobster tails - juicy, succulent, this is a real celebration mealwhen you throw it on a steak 8. House smoked salmon - really smooth and delicate flavor, I usually don't like commercial brandssince they over salt, this is perfect 9. House made salmon candy and jerky- love the mix of sweet, salty and peppery, great forsnacking, in between eating other seafood of course 10. House made black cod candy - I thought the salmon candy was good, theseare my absolute fave!!! Read more
