One of my fave restaurants inside. The outdoor part is just amazing. My party didn?t want to sit outside, which is only kind of... outside but we sat right by it and by the kitchen. It?s such an amazing spot. Entertaining spot for kids too who like to watchall the action. The food was great too lol. Sablefish just melted in my mouth. Read more

Absolutely amazing service! Our server was super attentive and she was very friendly. Backdoor patio was heated so wasn?t cold... at all even in the evening, space was beautiful and vibe was as if I was in Italy. Food was pretty good - especially theappetizer menus were great! Would highly recommend for a special night. Read more

Great ambience, really feel like you?ve been transported to Tuscany. For the price point I was a bit disappointed the pasta was... not fresh pasta. The seafood pasta was the pasta special of the day, I found it on the saltier side. I really enjoyed theSpaghetti Al Nero Di Seppia there was a creaminess to the sauce that I liked. We also got the octopus carpaccio which was theappetizer special of the night. I personally didn?t quite like the sauce to octopus ratio it was too overpowering. Read more

Visiting Vancouver after many years away and we wanted a special place. Consigliere highly recommended and didn?t disappoint. It... was packed but in a good way. We were seated right away. Our server was Anthony but it might as well been the owner himself. Hehad a certain elegance and panache to his introduction and how he greeted us. We went with our two young daughters and weredazzled by the beautiful artwork and vibrant atmosphere. He explained the Italian menu and dumbed it down for us. The girlswanted spaghetti. When the food arrived it was first class service. The calamari the pasta the white fish and the lobster bisquewere all perfect. Even our picky eaters ate all the spaghetti. For anyone that wants to go out and splurge just one time intheir lives?this is the place. Read more

My best Italian food experience in Vancouver. Always drive by here and see fancy cars nearby and I knew this place is good... lol Had the luck to sit in the backyard today (first day to have patio open this year), I felt like eating in Tuscany, it wasreally cozy and relaxing. The manager Bobby and our servers were excellent, top notch service. Pasta were fabulous, the vealossobuco was beyond my expectation though it looked average! Lamb rack and halibut were savoury too. Tiramisu and gelato wereexcellent. Overall we enjoyed the dining experience. One thing I found it interesting is most of the patrons here are elderwhite people, I guess this is where the old money comes to indulge themselves. Read more

For the price and reputation, the food here is only average. There are other places downtown that's cheaper with the same... quality, or better at the same price point. The one bright spot is the service. We had an excellent server. Read more

First time at Giardino. The mains and dessert was excellent. I couldn?t choose between two pastas and had a split of fettuccine... with parma prosciutto and petit pois in a light cream sauce, and paccheri di gragnano with spicy italian sausage, pecorinocheese. They were both flavourful and delicious. Our server was Andrew and he was very excellent and we really enjoyed ourinteraction with him. Look forward to going back. Read more
