It was my first time here with 4 other people. The experience of setting up a reservation was seamless - even got a text... confirmation. We arrived 30 minutes early and they were able to seat us sooner than later (reservation was for 9pm). The servertook the time to show us how to order our food, table was spacious and food came out in a timely manner. I like that theyoffered a few different soup bases that varied from vegetarian, spicy to pork. The handmade noodles were very yummy and wouldhighly recommend. I personally enjoyed the complimentary ice cream at the end. The sauce bar was stocked with appetizers and avariety of sauces. The restrooms were very clean and the music in the restaurant was very upbeat. I did see some reviews aroundthe surveillance cameras and can say there were not that many cameras when we got in. We went this afternoon for my birthday lunch and it was wonderful. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. We did... 4 different broths, meats, mushrooms, dumplings and the fried chicken. All very delicious. The section with the unlimitedsauce is very well stocked with everything you need. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. One of the staff members got usto try a delicious juice called Roselle, we all enjoyed it, especially my son. It will definitely be a must on our next visit. Top notch service, we were treated with cares and the best hospitality one could ask for at a restaurant. Great presentation of... food, clean and cheerful environment. Complimentary salad/fruit & dressing bar, my families and visiting friends from out oftown had a memorable time there. $50/person on average but worth it. I have been there 4 times because of friendly staffs and nice foods as well. They have various options to choose soups, meats,... sea foods and vegetables. After finish your main dishes, they gonna ask you bring some ice cream and candy. And staffs aresuper friendly and kind!! Also washroom and other facilities are clean and nice. Read more

This was quite literally one of the most fantastic restaurants I have ever been to in my life! I chose to go here as my first... hot pot experience and it was so so so good. the food was amazing, the quality of the ingredients was amazing, and we waitingless than three minutes for everything we ordered to come to our table. Our main server was named Noelle and she was soamazing, as well as the rest of the staff who continually checked up on us! They explained how to do everything and were so sokind. Hands down best hot pot in Van! Staff are sooo friendly and portions are generous. They have a sauce and dessert bar with... unlimited servings. They even provide aprons to help with the mess and hair ties for those with long hair! Also such aconvenient way of ordering with the screen set up. Price is very affordable! So delicious! Read more

I'd like to think I'm a bit of a veteran hotpot customer. I've been to almost all of the ones in my hometown and they are... relatively the same when it comes to the quality and value. I also never leave hungry. This prompted a visit here as its new tome and it was highly rated. I was expecting the same quality and value and since it's in Vancouver, maybe it might set the barhigher. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the food or experience to justify a bill over $100 for 2 people. Maybe if thiswas an all you can eat which included premium items I could justify the price but sadly it was not. Food was good quality butportions small and price high. I thought it was a mistake that a small handful of mixed basic veggies was $12. I legit gotcharged for every little thing including $8 or $9 to go to the sauce bar. The service was great, staff on hand and checking onus almost every 10 mins. I noticed the restaurant was spotless, staff that weren't serving customers were all cleaning likecrazy. To order and view the menu was all done on a tablet, food was served by a robot. Aprons were provided to keep yourclothes clean. Wife said the bathroom was beautiful and stocked with a bunch of goodies and feminine hygiene products. I likewhat they are doing to up the experience while eating here but unfortunately it has a cost. I'm pretty simple and I like to eatgood food at a fair cost. Not a fan of the gimmicks, just a fan of food. This meal back home would have cost us $60 tops and wewould have left ready to burst. Read more

You know what you expect when come to Haidilao, no matter is food quality or the service, always outstanding. The service team... would sing happy birthday song when it’s your birthday, provide you hair bands when see you have your long hair done, or aglasses cleaner cloth when see you wearing glasses…unfortunately they don’t have big tables for groups, so better come ingroup less than 6.
