I am so full?I did not want to stop eating the delicious lunch we just had. Cucumber salad crunchy and fresh, mixed appetizer... platter exactly what I expected, but the butter chicken and tikka masala chicken were SO GOOD. Looked like a nice place. Server was nice. But food was only average. The naan was really good. Their curries had good... flavours, but lacks dimension. Cucumbers in their salad was dry, which affected their visual appeal. Serving temperature ofthe curry and rice should be warmer. Overall an ok experience. The server seemed a little inexperienced, but she tries. Shelacked confidence, but was attentive (she'll get better with experience). This place has potential. Read more
Best salty lassi in Canada????: They give it the perfect balance of cumin and salt???? to make this an authentic North Indian... styled savoury yoghurt drink served on ice. Try if you enjoy savoury cold drinks, but notice, when I share, I?ve usuallyobserved my westerner friends opt to pass. Handi also has terrific vegetarian and vegan dining options. ???????? My hands-downfavourite main dish here is the daal ????with plain basmati rice. The lentils are creamy and savoury served in a copper bowl. The owners of this restaurant are so friendly, and their food is delicious. My friend and I went in for a quick bite and tried... the Indian chai, vegetable pakora, and samosa with chickpea curry & mint sauce. It was spectacular! I don't eat much Indianfood, but this place was by far the best I'd found near West Broadway. Definitely worth a visit! Read more
