Food is good but their phone number doesn?t work. Also it says opening time is 10:30. I went at 11 on Friday and still closed.

I never write bad reviews but Holi Masala's customer service seriously needs work. I wanted to try their food for a long time... because I've heard good things. I've contacted them through Instagram to ensure they are at the location they post. However, after confirming the location and date with them, they are a no show on the day of. This didn't happen just once but multipletimes. Disappointing. Today I see that they made a post on their Instagram story saying that they are at Oakridge and I quote"Find us at Oakridge". I call in and make an order. I walk over during my lunch break and find that there is no truck there. Igive them a call to see if they are parked elsewhere. They proceed to inform me that they are there tomorrow. I explained tothem that the post on is very misleading. As a solution they offer to drop off my order at my place of work then they suddenlychange their mind and ask "Can you not drive here?" I was so upset. I have work and I spent time to walk out to find you atOakridge then you ask if I can drive there? My lunch time is OVER. Please explain to me where I can find the time to drivethere. Overall really displeased with this business. I would seriously think twice maybe even three times when thinking oftrying this place. They don't know how to take care of their customers. Thank you for wasting my time. Read more

Received a note from our neighbours this was going to be in our area so we thought we would check it out for lunch. Lots of... choices for all types of diets and had a hard time deciding what to get because everything sounded so good. I decided on themasala fries and butter chicken bowl. WOW! The fries were really good and flavorful but the mango aioli was the real star of theshow! So good I never want to eat regular fries again. The butter chicken bowl was also really good and came with lots of chunksof chicken, very flavourful. My coworker got the samosa explosion which was also really amazing. The service was fast andfriendly. Can?t wait for this truck to come back to our area! Definitely a must try!!! Read more

Just tried this truck at the street food festival. The Chana Masala is labelled vegan so I ordered it only to find paneer in it.... Apparently, despite no indication of this on the board, only the bowl is vegan, the combo is not. I also ordered the vegetablepakora only to find a black hair in it. (I have pink hair so it was certainly not mine.) Additionally, the "salad" that camewith both dishes was just chopped up romaine, cabbage, and kale with absolutely nothing else, no dressing. Very, verydissapointed. Read more

Food is good. Slightly away from Indian cuisine as they had to adapt to Canadian taste buds. But still good.

The lamb curry is so well cooked and delicious. They?ve always given me fantastic service. If we?re out in the Vancouver rain... they never fail to provide their patrons chai to stay warm while waiting for their food. Can?t wait for them to be backdowntown! Read more

Video review on youtube: vancity food crew columbia strEAT food truck fest 2018 I saw this food truck at the food truck fest... and ordered a butter chicken poutine. Its a bit different from your classic poutine, as you get yam fries instead of potatofries, butter chicken sauce instead of gravy, and paneer instead of curds. It also has chicken obviously. The poutine itself wasfine but I felt like there was too much sauce. They do have other items so I would try this food truck again for sure. Read more
