Great food and great service. To be honest, we aren't sure why this place received one Michelin star while some other high-end... Chinese restaurants, such as Mott32, didn't. We felt like this place was great, but not exceptional. That being said, there'snothing to complain about this place. We enjoy our time here. It is also children friendly, so it's nice to know we can visithere as a family. There's also a free parking and it's very close to a skytrain station, which is a big plus. Read more

It was a fancy traditional Peking duck restaurant. We enjoyed the experience very much. The service was a bit slow at times but... friendly and thoughtful. Food was great. We had gift certificate from a friend and fully appreciated the gift. The lunch combowas a reasonable choice. The duck soup, juicy shrimp dish followed by the signature Peking duck. So special and delicious. Withanother vegetable dish and a pease pudding dessert. Thanks my friend and the restaurant for the very special time ???? Read more

The food and service are excellent. We have the crab meat rice cake and beijing duck. Their sauces for the rice cake and duck... are the best sauces I ever had. The duck is as good as the one we had in Beijing before. The crepe is not enough for whole duck, but you can order one more basket. Definitely worth to come here if you would like an authentic Beijing duck. Read more

A week or so ago we had an absolutely wonderful lunch at Quan Ju De duck house. We ordered the 4 person set menu which included... an appetizer, soup, duck, sides, and dessert. All the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and filling. The highlight ofthe meal was definitely the duck skin dipped in sugar. The service was absolutely impeccable as we felt well-attended to, butnot overwhelmed. Overall our meal was one of the best restaurant experiences that I have enjoyed and we will definitely bereturning when the set menu changes! Read more

Great place for seeking delicate Chinese cuisine. Pricing: We didn't order the set meal, instead, 9 individual dishes for 6... people, round down to about $100/ person after tax. Food quality: Innovative dishes, well seasoned, creative plating. (Forexample, softshell crab, instead of using overwhelming amount of garlic and pepper slice to compliment the dish, the chef usesoat flakes to balance the state. Really thinking out side of the circle) Service: Above the par service, the server isknowledgeable and very patient with us. Making good personal recommendations, fluent in English and Mandarin. Reallyprofessional. Conclusion: will definitely come back again and try their set menu Read more

An elevated fine dining experience. Everything about this restaurant screams boujee. From the grand entrance doors, bar, dining... area, private dining rooms, to the gold decorated washrooms, it all ties right in with their high end luxury diningexperience. Our group opted for the 8-course private dining option. Each dish was elegantly presented with the highlight beingthe Beijing roast duck served table side. They start off by cutting a small portion of skin off the neck. This is meant to belightly dipped in sugar to bring out the richness of the duck flavour. The grouper was tender and paired nicely with the steamedegg. I did find the lobster soup to be missing something (perhaps some citrus taste?) as it was a little on the bland side. Fora guy that eats a lot, I found the food portions to be sufficient. Service was top-tier. Attention to detail, checking in aftereach first bite, drink recommendations, discreetly peering in (from outside) to see if all guests had finished before cominginto the room to clear tables in anticipation for the next course. Overall, had a great time , good experience. Pro tip: Makereservations, pre-order the Beijing Duck in advance (otherwise it’s about 55min to make), free parking at rear undergrounddesignated stalls. Ambience was very comfortable and elegant, but can be loud when busy. The Peking duck was very delicious with very crispy skin.... Never had crispy skin with sugar the way it was prepared here, and was pleasantly surprised. The lobster soup rice had a funmix of texture combined with strong aroma from the broth made it a highlight of the night aside from the duck. Good service butwas slower than expected tonight.
