Lots of indoor seating, fast wifi - makes for a great work spot! The chocolate chip cookie was wonderful but perhaps slightly... uncomfy with the amount of flies buzzing around the bakery case. Read more

Nice atmosphere and tasty breakfast sandwich, but the espresso was not my favourite. The baked goods looked delicious but I... didn?t try any. Read more

This place will always hold a special place in my heart because it?s where I first tried Kafka?s chicken shwarma sandwich. A... spiritual experience. Run don?t walk!!! I had twice in my weekend stay in Vancouver. Anytime of day, doesn?t matter, just go!!!Delightful coffee, tea, and other drinks as well Read more

What to expect at a place called Kafka?s? I watched a family order their breakfast, the father eager to try the granola with... yogurt and confit. Other choices were made, payment was taken and it was then revealed that the yogurt did not exist. I was notdisappointed. In all fairness, the order was made right and all were happy. I enjoyed a delicious egg sandwich creation and acoffee with a kick. The staff were friendly and helpful. Perhaps it is not the best value for those on a budget, but the foodwas so tasty I cannot complain. Read more

I worked in high end coffee for a few years before moving on to a new career, but since leaving I have found it difficult to... find a cafe that lives up to my standards of a snobby barista. this place lives up to it and exceeds it :) beautifully balancedespresso that works iced and hot, extraordinary sandwiches and an extensive food menu, but not in an overwhelming sense. verycalming and welcoming atmosphere that I could get lost in. 6/5 if I could ;) Read more

Really nice coffee shop - fantastic food and coffee, and the space is artsy in a way that doesn't feel contrived. There's a good... amount of seating on the two levels of the cafe, and a small (uncovered) patio. Everything is high quality and the drinks andbaked goods are fairly priced, but the breakfast/lunch menu is overpriced considering the modest portion size. Baristas arereally friendly. Also, they confusingly serve the dine-in sandwiches wrapped in paper when they serve baked goods and drinks fordine-in in ceramic tableware, which is odd. Read more

I didn't have the opportunity to sit down and eat there but I did buy a couple of things and was amazed. The customer service... is divine, the place is very nice, the prices are reasonable, the Spanish Latte is delicious, and I had never tasted a chocolatechip cookie as delicious as I did today! Thank you for such a great experience. Read more

Excellent financiers! Latte is great too. They have multiple locations; this one is right on Emily Carr?s campus. The location... is convenient with $1 parking just across the street (and probably free parking if you look harder). The inside is pretty andthey make everything from scratch (of course not the coffee beans though). And they even sell dough and grass-fed butter! Theyhave a second floor seating as well as patio seating. I just wish they had more power outlets. Read more
