Every meal comes with 15 side dishes (combo meals or basically if you order enough items)!! Side dishes have unlimited refills -... although we didn’t need more than one refill ourselves. We went on a Friday night so it felt a bit busy - slightly longerwait for service. Somehow the waiter forgot the napkin I asked for. The ambience is really nice here - great for gathering withfriends / family and having a fun meal. Also, not a huge deal, but the lettuce dish had a dead bug on the very top piece whenwe first got it - all other pieces were fine. We just threw that bit out and asked for more when we ran out (free refills). Read more

This place is very busy. We came with a party of 6 (4 adults + 2 toddlers) and ordered the 4 person combo. The food was... delicious. One of the better Korean BBQ places in Vancouver. The meat was great quality and the selection of endless banchanequally as impressive. We will definitely be back. Read more

We went for one of their combination sets, the meats were well marinated (and as a result, tasted really good) and the amount... was perfect for our group. Quite surprised at how soft the chicken was after cooking, sometimes the chicken at kbbq places aredry but not here. The marinated short ribs were probably my highlight. Staff were attentive with grill changes and side dishes, had a great evening with friends here. Read more

If you're looking for good quality food and service that never disappoints, you've found it! We've eaten at Kook dozens of... times now. Each time tastes as good as the first. They give a whole bunch of side dishes that not only look amazing, they tasteamazing as well. The beef combos are our go-to. The meat, regardless of the cut, is always tender and mouthwatering. I woulddefinitely recommend ordering beef over the pork. Service is friendly and quick. The staff are very knowledgeable when it comesto food recommendations, and they are so welcoming. The only downside is there can be a wait during busy hours, but that's withall popular restaurants. Call ahead and book a reservation, though I believe they only take reservations for 4+ people? Werecommend Kook to all our friends that come to Vancouver :) Read more

The meal here was so good! We did the dinner for 4 here and it was awesome. The meats are well. Prepared and the atmosphere is... defs loud and alive! It's a place to go for good eats and a fun time with your friends and family. We split the bills so it madeit even more affordable! It's a very busy spot so expect a wait. We waited for 1hour when we got there around 730pm on a Fridaynight. But in my opinion it was worth it! Staff are friendly and the table are sanitized well. Read more

The staff was really friendly and explanatory about the different menu items. They’re known for the 15 side dishes, there’s... so many options. They have normal and premium meat for barbecue. You can’t reserve for less than 4 people, so make sure youdon’t go at peak times without reservation, it’s a busy restaurant. Food tasted amazing and very very fulfilling. All themeat comes with 15 sides and a rice bowl. There was complimentary cinnamon dessert drink which helps lighten all the food youate. Super happy with the experience, would definitely go again!! Best korean BBQ I’ve had in Vancouver! They give you a lot of side dishes and each one is really good so there’s something... for everyone. Really good service and I didn’t have to book or anything as I went quite early. I’ve been told wait times canbe long during the weekend but I think it would be worth the wait. Drinks were good and the atmosphere is great for a date! Read more

Local Korean barbecue restaurant is located in this is the East 1st Ave Plaza on second floor. It has plenty of parking. I would... highly recommend to make a reservation online or over the phone so you won't be needing to wait in line if it is busy. Largeamount of selection in appetizers. there was 3 sauce for you to dip if you order the barbecue meat. The Seafood pancake issmaller than most Korean restaurant I have been to but it still taste good. Not sure what is the standard of the service here.In some Korean restaurants, the staff would actually assist the customers barbecue the food instead of cooking it ourselves. AsI see most of the customer cook it themselves so I expect that would not happen; however, the table next to us did not cook itfor themselves and the restaurant staff actually help them to finish cooking all the barbecue Meats.
