Only ordered Laksa rice noodle. Too much oil on the soup, couldn't get the taste until the removal of the oil on the surface of... the soup. Didn't taste the much of the laksa spices. I didn't read the menu carefully as the print characters was tiny anddidn't realize that the beef topping costed extra. Read more

Some of the dishes were very good, others generic. Beef rendang and roti canai were excellent. Satay too dry and chewy. Stir... fried noodles too soft. Overall I was satisfied with the dishes. Read more

Reasonably priced lunch menu. Good food herbs were fragrant in the Curry chicken and laksa. Clean COVID safe. Malay decor.... Likely family run attentive and multi lingual like most Malay. Lots of free parking in the neighborhood on Rupert. I'drecommend checking out if you have a hankering for Malaysia cuisine. Read more

Great portion, reasonably priced (tbh I was surprised at their cheap price and generous portions). Ordered the chicken rice,... fried tofu, beef brisket curry and fried keuh teow. I felt the over worked/tiredness (staffs) vibes when entering and not aslively or welcoming otherwise, I would have rate it as five stars. Definitely worth visiting, if you're in Vancouver. Nextvisit, mamak mee goring, as recommended by fellow Singaporean friends. Read more

I had a reciept inside my water?. Unbelieveable!!!! When i told the lady about it she was like ?oh ok? and just bring the water... away. Is this the reason why they change their name from Pendang to Kopitiam? They charge me for the paper bag for togo orderwithout asking me if i need a bag, also charge me for a togo box with out telling me there is a charge for it. Read more

This place has great Malay Singaporean food and I feel people could easily this place along rupert. First thing is the service... is good, has a family owned vibe, not sure if it actually is and I?d say it?s better to come here in a small group so you cantry more items! The roti canai was great, it was flakey and buttery, and balanced well with the satay sauce. Next up, I?drecommend getting the tofu and having the sauce on the side. Id imagine you?d have too much sauce if you didn?t get it on theside, and I found the tofu to be too oily, although it?s a bit expected because it?s deep fried. I feel they could?ve dabbed itwith paper towel or something because it tasted good, but just too oily for my liking. Next up, the Hainan chicken was moist, toppings were good and this is a simple dish that?s well priced and I?d recommend everyone who comes here to try it if youhaven?t already done so! The laksa was okay, I?ve had better in Vancouver. Felt the seafood they gave was just a lot of squidand I just felt the flavour could?ve been better. Lastly, the veggies were really good! I loved the veggie combination and theycooked everything perfectly, not to mention the shrimp flavour really adds to it - it was a great stir fry. However, it was abit too oily once again. Overall, the food here is good. Everything I tried wasn?t bad. I feel the food is fairly priced forwhat you get and dish sizes are just right. My only negative thing about this place was that some dishes were too oily for myliking, so if you?re on a low fat diet, this isn?t your place. It?s more of a comfort feel good food when having a cheat day. Read more

the BEST Malaysia food in Vancouver! Awesome taste! And the price is surprisingly low consider such large portion of food. One... thing to improve, the hainanese chicken is super fresh and meat quality is super good, but the dipping sauce isn?t thatimpressive tho. Read more
