Kosoo was a great traditional Korean dining experience. The dishes were very flavourful and the menu was varied without being... overwhelming. Great for sharing with a group so everyone can try a bit of everything. The seating is ample and the AC keeps itcool even when numerous table grills are on. Service is a bit slow, so you might have to wait a while to order and to get yourbill, but the food comes out fast! Read more

They forgot our order so we ended up waiting 40min for cold noodles. When the food finally came, the soup cold noodles tasted... bland/flavourless and the spicy one was just mediocre. The beef “side” that it came with ($7 add on) came with five pieces,a few of which was mostly bone. Worst part was, after eating I got the runs. Also they don’t come with any side dishes, different from most Korean restaurants. Read more

I like this restaurant since they open, However, this terrible thing just happendto me. Very traumatic. Ordered soondubu stew.... On the way home, the bottom side of bag just opened like that picture. My stew fell down and splashed everywhere stained myclothes and shoes. Was very shameful at the public place. Was very hot and tired day, also starving. There were tons of peoplefrom event all of them looked at me.. horrible and pathetic. As soon as got home and saw my hubby I cried like 3years old girl.I don’t know I have next time to order there same menu, hope that they have better packaging material. Read more

Food was tasty. But paid $29 for the garlic chicken, portion was about half of what I would have expected. Beef gimbap photos... made the rolls look twice the diameter than what I was delivered. Very disappointed. Read more

As a Korean, Kosoo always gives me only good memories. All the dishes seem to have paid a lot of attention, and the taste is... also very good. The service is friendly and has a nice smile. I went right before the last order, but thank you so much fortreating me so kindly. Read more

Carbs explosion ???? Robson st have so many good Korean food. Kosoo has two locations and it has been popular for a while. I... visited Kosoo’s old location with my friends and ordered their signature dishes. ????Jiajiang Tteok-Bokki???? This pot ismind blowing. It has: ramen+gyoza+sticky rice stripes+jiajiang sauce+fish cake. Name it carb ???? Not too salty, huge portionand have everything you expected. ????Beef Tartare Bibimbap???? Yummmmm!!! I love this more that the pot! Rare beef’s naturalsweetness and their special bibimbap sauce, yo I am mouthwatering editing this. They have fried eggplant as a topping, love lovelove ????Rice Wine???? Low in %, suitable for a refreshing drink. But so overpriced. Understandable though Read more

I would give the food a 5 star but the service could definitely be better. There was one server for the entire restaurant and... only 3 tables when my friends and I were there. My friends and I were waving our hands to order, but the server was too busychatting with her friend to even notice us. We had to yell for her to get her attention after waving our hands for 10 minutes. She reluctantly came over and took our order then went back to chatting with her friend. Its very unprofessional of her andsince the restaurant actually has good food they should train their staff to be better. Read more
