Spanish tapas? Go to Chinatown. My girlfriend and I were looking for a new place to explore and came across this place. It's a... small place, with large share tables, tables for 4, and a large bar seating area. There is a large bar with a fun cocktail andwine list. My girlfriend had a pineapple puree margarita, we shared some sangria, and they have Estrella beer. The flavors wereprecise and the presentation was beautiful. We had a octopus and cutle fish on a saffron turmeric rice which was outstanding.They are known for pintixos which is a crusty bread with various toppings of meat, cheese, and seafood. We shared 5 differentones. We also shared a grilled asparagus dish with cheese which was delicious. The one dish we had that was less than the otherswas the oxtail dish. It was recommended so we decided to try it. The flavors were excellent but there was very little actualoxtail. This place was on my list for “ must try”. Although, it was a disappointment. Service was friendly. Just took awhile for... them to acknowledge us at the start. Food options were limited. Average tasting. Overpriced clams at $17 for 8 clams on aplate. The music seemed nice until we realized they were playing the same 6 songs on loops. But the time I heard one song 4x inan hour, I knew it was time to move on to another spot. Read more

Go here and bring your friends!! First time here and loved it. The space is beautiful and together with the music snd drinks, it... transports you to another city. We tried all the pintxos and they're all SO good. Each one has different flavour combinationsthat work well and balanced together. We especially liked the Sierra, Italian and Kraken. There's a lot more tapas to choosefrom. We got the feature clams (get more bread to dip the sauce!), patatas bravas, and a potato cake dish I forget the name ofbut it was also really good. Read more

A hidden gem. Every dish was beautifully presented with care and the flavours were incredible. The sardine and cod liver pâté... pintxo was not something we would have ordered but we wanted to step outside our comfort zone and it was our favourite bite ofthe night. Very friendly staff and eclectic atmosphere for cocktails and Spanish pintxos & tapas. We tried the pintxo platter (5 for $35)... which included various toppings (jamon, sardine, squid, salmon, yellowtail) on bread. I would have preferred if the bread wasslightly toasted to give it more texture, however I don't believe it would be traditional to do so. In terms of value, $7 eachis a bit steep, but this is Vancouver and not Spain! My favourite dish of the night was the Pulpo a la Gallega (octopus withpotato, mayo and bittersweet paprika - $20). The flavours were excellent and I loved the puffy potato. However, the value wasnot great for the portion. The cocktails that I tried were excellent (watermelon martini and caipirinha). Everything from the music, ambience, service, drinks and food were freaking brilliant! We were just walking by and the music and... decor pulled us in and it was well worth the visit. Food was fresh, delicious with a beautiful co-mingling of colors, flavorsand textures. Passion for what they do from the folks there can be seen, felt and tasted!
