A Vancouver staple. A classic Italian restaurant with delicious food and amazing staff. Sarah was brilliant! The owner vsiited... our table to check in. I haven't even started on the food. Wow. You know the chef is putting the love in. It was our anniversaryand they went the extra mile. MELANZANE ALLA PARMIGIANA was something else. A must try. First time eating here and here is my honest review. I had a reservation for a Saturday night at 9pm with a party of 5 and we... were celebrating a birthday. The good: - Restaurant respected reservation time and got us in promptly - Decor was inviting -Server was friendly - Food had good flavour The bad: - The food is severely overpriced for what you're getting (in myopinion). The pasta dishes started at the mid $30 range and while it tasted good it wasn't phenomenal. - It took over an hourto get our food and there was nothing to be said from the staff about the long wait. -Portion size is not consistent from oneguest to the next. -Celebrated a birthday and while it is not required the restaurant didn't do anything to recognize it. Insummary if you're thinking about coming here for a meal that is "out of this world" think again. Let's call an ace an ace....Pasta and sauce should not be this expensive. For 2 pastas and one appetizer (Brussel sprouts) it was $100. I expected betterservice. Read more
Enjoyed a meal here a while back, and it was a fantastic Italian dining experience. The food was all incredible, the lobster... carbonara was a delight, and you can’t go wrong with the tiramisu! Their wine selection is one of the biggest I’d ever seen,so it was nice the server could help pick the right glass for our meal. Read more
