Los Cuervos was a place that surprised me. I’ve driven past it too many times, and finally decided to check it out! When you... first enter, it has tile floors, ferry lights and very colourful walls. Our waiter offered great recommendations and suppliedgreat serious. The place is pretty small and it kinda feels like you’ve temporarily left Vancouver. What we ordered: ????Birria ???? Pollo ???? Alambre ???? Coliflor ???? Nopal ???? Ejote Firstly, I’d say 3-4 tacos is all you need, becausethey’re pretty filling. My favourite vegetarian taco was the Nopal, it was refreshing with the pico de gallo like topping theypaired with the cactus. It’s also pretty unique to have a cactus taco in itself here! Th green beans (ejote) were veryflavourful and balanced well with the tamarind sauce for some sweetness and the leeks was a nice touch. The best part of thecauliflower (coliflor) was how well battered it was, not too oily, thin batter and crispy! Overall, I was impressed with thevegetarian tacos. As for the meat tacos, alambre was my partners favourite. The crispy peppers balanced the richness of themeat and bacon, making it a great combo. The Birria was very juicy and the onions added good crunch and texture. Lastly, thechicken was very chicken (as worded by him, and not me ????). Overall, I’m definitely coming back. I was impressed by theoptions, how flavourful they were and I love texture, so that’s brownie points for me. Price is also reasonable, with mosttacos being around $6 each… however, happy hour is 2 for $10, so that’s a good deal there. Read more

This is a must for Mexican food. The margaritas are delicious, with enough variety that everyone will find one to enjoy. The... tacos are outstanding, the bison, cactus, and Al Pastor three you should definitely try. Service is exceptional, with a specialmention to Miguel, who went out of his way to ensure we had a good time, and for making sure he was there for our timethere. I finally made it and I'm already planning my next visit. Due to the fact I was driving I couldn't partake in my favorite... beverage, the margarita, so obviously a trip back is due. Very soon! I had family visiting and we dined in. Although scorchinghot outside and no AC, they definitely did their best with ample fans on. Once my body got used to it, it was fine. Tables wereoutside on the grassy area to the side which I thought that was a nice touch. Also outside tables in the front but in full sun:-) I opted for a cauliflower taco and an avocado one whereas my bro did chicken and the beef brisket. Happy Hour tacos are 2for $10! The tacos were so fresh...so colorful and so flavorful. I was shocked at the quality and quantity...they were just sofull. I try veggie tacos in alot of places and these were without a doubt, the best I have had. The service also has to bementioned. Attentive without being intrusive and very welcoming....and thankful. Muy bien! Excelente! Happy hour priced tacos were absolutely delicious. Really good value. Margaritas were really good as well.... This place is our fave Mexican restaurant in town. We always come here when we crave Mexican. It's got both fun and classic... flavours, great drinks, and everything is made in-house. The tortilla chips are freshly fried and hot. Service is good, andthere's often a lot of people here :) Read more
