One of my most favorite Italian places ever! I had a friend come from Ontario and I remember coming here awhile ago and loving... it, so I brought my friend and really, this place never fails with its food or service. The soup we had for an appetizer was sodelicious. It was a little salty for my taste but it tasted so flavourful and warmed us both up. And we tried a pasta asrecommended and it was so creamy and delicious! And the calzone was huge! Well worth the price. It was so delicious. Highlyrecommend coming here if you're craving Italian food! We were trying to get our last meal of the trip in Vancouver and we found this place called Marcelo’s. On google people gave... them 4 starts and I was wondering if was good. But o surprise!!!!! If Marcelo’s still alive he could died again with the tasteof his restaurant food he knows what I’m talking about, an Italian restaurant founded by an Italian man couldn’t have thisawful taste!. Just I want to say thank you for the waitress who was very kind but the restaurant definitely was nice butterrible food and not taste at all!!!. Never go there unless you want to eat cheap made fast Italian food. It doesn’t taste asthe food you look in the pictures. Please AVOID this restaurant IF YOU CAN, we payed 100 dollars for a food you can get in acheap Buffett for 15 dollars. So disappointed I wish they could refund at least 30% of my money. Read more

Went for dinner to this pizzeria which serves authentic italian food. Their focacio bread was very tasty. They had few options... for vegetarian and I wish they had more options. Their pizza was good but I definitely wished they had more veggie toppings,Jalapenos in particular as their pizza seem bit bland and had not a single hint of pepper in it. Their menu had decent optionsfor drinks. Definitely a good place for dinner date but they could do better with more vegaterian options in my opinion. Read more

We ordered two large pizzas with 4 different flavours (don’t remember the names). They pizzas were massive and the toppings... were more than generous! It was very cheesy and the dough was chewy and no tough at all. Usually when it comes to pizzerias, Iam not a fan of the crust as it is usually dry and tasteless. At Marcello’s the crust is crispy and along with the Parmesancheese, it tasted great! The pizzas come in a medium for $19-23 and a large (with option of half and half) for $36. At first Ithought the price for a large was quite steep, but upon seeing the size and the taste, it was well worth it! Read more

We were at Marcello's last night. I found the design of the place very fascinating, a real Italian atmosphere! I loved the stone... oven with that face relief. I loved the Henri Matisse painting and the interior. the presentation of the food was perfect. Andyes, we waited a long time for the food. I also work in the kitchen and if we are late like that, our chef would really getangry with us and warn us. There is such a thing as bill time, after all. and the food didn't really taste. The fungi pizza wasso bad, it's a mystery what kind of taste the pizza would have. Even a 2 $ pizza you buy from the street is delicious, and whenit comes to an Italian restaurant, expectations were big. The calamari was really huge. 2-3 order seems were in 1 order.Unfortunately, it didn't make our mouths water as much as it fascinated presentation. I guess we won't go again. We were assisted by Mina and she gave us... an excellent service, good recommendation to our ordering which we are super happy. Had a short friendly conversationtoo. Such an amazing place. Love the food. Peter was our server, who did an excellent job. He was very attentive and at the same time... he was giving us enough time to enjoy the food and time.
