Came here for a belated mum's day dinner. Everything was impeccable - server was friendly and accommodating, food delicious,... great wine selection. We left with smiles on our faces. Only reason I'm deducting 1 star is because my niece who was withus for dinner got violently ill later that night, not sure why - she doesn't have any food allergies that we know of. But Ican't rightfully blame market for that since the rest of us felt fine. Read more

Service is genuine and professional. The host was super accommodating even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was... very good. Dishes were interesting and the chicken breast with ramp and spatzle was excellent. Order espresso instead of dripcoffee for sure. The wines by the glass are worth trying. The room was warm and sunny. Tables are a bit close together andconversations can be overheard. Can't wait til the patio opens. One of the best spots to linger in the city. Read more

A very interesting pop with chicken and green onion flavour. Was there for a short happy hour before dinner at 6. Breakfast, lunch and dinner must try. Its Michelin starred restaurant. Great atmosphere, staff are what makes this restaurant... great and view is good. I love the selections of breakfast entrees and presentation is what makes you salivate at seeing thefood. But what makes it more special is being part of Shangri la hotel and what hotel. I have tried many but this one is reallyspecial in every category but most importantly its friendliness and cleanliness. Market is must be part of your check list ofmust do. What a fantastic experience I had at the Market by Jean-Georges. From the moment I entered the restaurant till the moment I... left, I was treated with kindness and a genuine attitude of fantastic service. I especially want to thank the hostess, who knewthat I was visiting the restaurant for a quiet coffee meeting, and she secured a quiet corner for myself and my colleague tomeet in and was very mindful of seating anyone too close to us. Our waiter was courteous and extremely professional. Mycolleague and I were very impressed with the, A+ level service all around. I will be coming back to the Market for futuremeetings and lunches.
