This little gourmet sandwich shop is something else. Ordered their specialty, the porchetta and was pleasantly surprised. Meat... was soft and most. Bread is well toasted and perfectly crispy. Will definitely have to come back again. Read more

Fantastic sandwich and experience. The staff was very welcoming, service was quick, and the house special sandwich + pickles... were superb. It will be hard to explain how does it taste, but hope you can visualize through the picture???? Read more

Spectacular meatball sub, using kale works super well and the Parm aioli is awesome. Super fast turnaround and very good... service. Highly recommend if you are in a sandwich mood. Read more

The best porchetta sandwich we have ever had, hands down. So juicy and delicious with a small saucy kick. Definitely one of the... best sandwich places around! Read more

Looks nice in the white box and presentation is nice too but the taste is very mediocre to average. I had the pulled pork... sandwich with apple slaw and the meat was not tender and quite dry. A bit tangy but otherwise bland flavors. A Big Mac honestlytastes way better and the price you pay for a sandwich here is around $13, and in my opinion, it's not worth what you end upgetting. Yummier options are available elsewhere. Read more

Meat & Bread was one of my must-have restaurants whenever I had the opportunity to come back. I use to go to the Cambie and... Hastings location and even lined up for the famous Turducken sandwich during Christmas holidays. I found myself walking by andwas shocked to see a Meat & Bread on Broadway! I made a mental note and finally had the chance to pop in. I ordered my favoritePorchetta sandwich. It was near closing so they cut what was left. The team member was very generous with the meat pile and whenI asked for extra mustard, she laid it on. The Porchetta was a little dry, but I suspect it was due to the end piece that Ireceived. The pork rind was crunchy and why I love the sandwich so much. The extra mustard was an absolute requirement to cutthrough the fattiness. The bread is a little different and not as airy. Still, I love the Porchetta and will always eat at Meat& Bread for this sandwich! Read more

Porchetta is definitely my favourite, I love how much meat they stuff this sandwich. Pork is flavourful and they add the crispy... skin for added texture. Bread is nice quality as well however I do wish it was a touch less dense. Staff were very friendly andhelpful as well. Great lunch spot. Read more
