Been eating at Minerva?s my whole 20 years of life. This place is home. Full of memories. Food never disappoints and they will... make it just the way you like it. Everything is delicious. Service is fabulous. Everyone is so kind. Such a welcomingenvironment. Perfect for children, elderly and wheelchair + walker users. A hidden gem on the west side. I enjoyed the family style vibe and the food is quite fresh and delicious. Very reasonably... priced. One of the best Italian/Greek restaurant I enjoy going. Would definitely return and try more dishes next time. Read more
My first time back to this restaurant in almost 20 years. It was just as good if not better than what I remembered. We moved... out of the area and then kind of forgot about it till Ryan Reynolds brought it up. This place is an institution. Been owned bythe same person since 1975. I'm a businessman and respect that above all else. To own a place for 47 years and maintain thatstandard, nothing short of a miracle. My wife and I were coming from a Whitecaps game so didn't get to try a lot but everythingwe had was just awesome. Their pizza is the best out there, it's so good. The Chicken Souvlaki was excellent. The chicken wasnot dry like most Greek places. The tzatziki was soooo good. The produce was nice and fresh in the Greek salad. The stickytoffee pudding was divine and the cappuccino was authentic. You could see a certain standard being maintained which waswonderful to experience. Now that this restaurant is back on my radar, can't wait to try more items off the menu ! Read more
I recently was in Golden B.C and had some amazing pan pizza. Been craving it ever since (check out Turning Point Restaurant). So... ever since I have been hunting for a decent pan pizza place. This place hits the spot! We ordered 2 mediums for takeouts, theyput a generous portion of toppings on without over crowding. It was delicious! The crust was the best part! I usually don?t eveneat the crust on a lot of pizza. I know Vancouver is a Neapolitan pizza kinda scene but this place is a gem and a must try forpizza lovers. Read more
We were there on a crowded Friday evening for dinner. All the tables were taken. So, I would suggest taking a reservation if... anyone looking to go around that time of the day. Service was excellent as the waitress explained the menu in detail and alsoshared her recommendations. That made it easy for us first-timers to place our order. Food - from salad to pita to souvlaki topasta were all great. You could tell from the flavors that fresh ingredients were used. We walked away in the end, leaving emptyplates and happy smiles. Everything was perfect. My husband ordered the Roasted Lamb Shoulder and it was juicy and perfectly cooked. The rice, the pita... and the potatoes were also pretty good. I ordered the meat-tastic pizza and it was wonderful. The sauce was the perfect amountand you could feel every meat's flavor. We ordered desserts and both were perfect. The hours of operation are just in the evening and still this place is always full. Very good vibe on the bar area and in the... lounge. Prices are economical looking at the quantity n quality of food you get. Salads were so fresh so juicyand delicious at the same time. Best lamb shank I have ever had. Plate had more meat then rice which I loved about the serving.I had to pack for next day n equally enjoyed every bite.
