This charming hotel is located in the heart of Yaletown, surrounded by great restaurants and a 2-minute walk to the sea wall. We... were greeted warmly by Scott who makes you feel right at home. The room, although not large, was well designed and hadimpressive nooks with cozy chairs and lamps in each corner to sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The bed and linen wereheavenly and loved the heated floors in the bathroom. All in all, a wonderful stay and would highly recommend! Read more
Stayed for 3 nights as part of a wedding. Gorgeous hotel rooms, great pillows and sheets. The staff were so kind and attentive... to any requests we had. Always love staying at the Opus. I stay here several times a year for work and it?s one of my favourite hotels. Staff are always... incredibly welcoming and accommodating, going above and beyond wherever they can. The sparkling wine on checkin is also a lovelywelcome. The rooms are always very clean and the Dyson hair dryers are fantastic (the one trip I never pack my own hair dryer).The location is also fantastic - right in Yale town where there is no shortage of amazing places to eat. Sky Train station isliterally across the street as well for easy access to the airport and anywhere else you may want to go in the Vancouver area. Read more
Opus lived up to their reputation, "Uniquely Stylish. Always fresh." The rooms were clean, treated with aroma therapy to aide... sleep and relaxation, and the service was excellent. The only reason they didn't get 5 Stars from me was due to the floor toceiling windows. I would have preferred more privacy without having to close the blinds to get it. Read more
Nice hotel, great location as a jumping off point for daily excursions. Room was a bit dated and worn, for the price I expected... more than an empty bar fridge, even water would have been nice. The staff were great check-in and check-out in under 2 minutes! Only real negative was the bathroom with floor to ceiling wall to wall windows. Great if it was one-way glass, it's not! Starbucks customers across the street will see you. Sure they have blinds you can pull down but then you have no view. Terribledesign and no warning label in room or from staff, had to Google it. Excellent staff and customer service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and will help you with anything you need with a smile.... Love how you're welcomed with a glass of sparking wine! Rooms aren't huge, but they are very nice. Location is hard to beatalso. Take advantage of their free bike rentals also! Read more
We booked here for 5 nights for about 500$ for two people. The room was small but had a nice ambience. The room itself did not... have enough power sockets for two people for 5 days. The TV was unable to stream so we watched shows on our computers. Theservice was mixed we arrived and the woman was helpful. As we asked if we could have a room with a bath tub - this was notedwhen we booked, but missed. The second person was very unhelpful as we asked for upgrading our room. Apparently they hadoverbooked rooms A very long time I did have an amazing room here. So maybe it was this trip, but I am unlikely to return. I really want to give this place more stars, but mostly because the staff is amazing. I took my husband here to surprise him for... the weekend. In two nights, we had three different rooms. The staff took care of things really quickly, but it still felt likeit put a damper on our weekend - especially since we had to move rooms really late one night, and spent the second night awakebecause the room was so hot and the air wasn't working. I'm not sure how I'd feel about spending that money on staying hereagain. The location is amazing though ???? Read more
