I ordered $80 worth of Pizza for my daughter?s birthday from Papa Johns ALMA street Location?Vancouver BC. The app wasn?t... working to track the pizza being made etc.. we called after 45 min. The lady told us it was ready and she was waiting fordelivery driver?maybe another 10 minutes. We called again after 1 hr 30 minutes. Still no driver coming soon. Then 2 hours laterwe called and told them the app is now working and it says that the order was delivered (when clearly it was not!) and to rateour driver ?Joe?! They told me it wasn?t picked up yet by the driver. I told them to hold onto it and that my husband Was onhis way. We are 5 minutes away. My husband picked up all the pizzas. The labels on the outside describing them were correct. Hebrought them home and 2 of them were completely incorrect. They gave us only cheese pizzas. The correct topping ones wereincorrect with extra sauce. I have been ordering from this location for years and recently had another experience with thislocation where they made one of our pizzas wrong and hubby who picked it up waited another 20 minutes. No apology from the owneror manager. Just that mistakes happen. I am not sure if they changed ownership post panademic. Pizza tastes saltier and not thesame. We have thrown in the towel and will never waste or time or money ordering from here. In addition, they gave my number toa skip the dishes guy who called me and confronted me on why I picked up my order (after 2 hours of waiting) and then he hung upon me! We called the owner to let her know the 2 pizzas were just cheese and she said she was going to send the correct pizzaswhich she never did. My husband put the 2 pizzas away as last time she wanted the wrong pizza returned- which we did return. They never showed up with the replacement pizzas. Ordered a large pizza with lots of toppings, extra cheese, and extra pizza sauce. Chicken wings, and a soft drink. What we got... was a rubbery dough with a couple pieces of dry mushrooms, chicken wings without a drop of sauce, and no soft drink. When Icalled the shop to refund the missing pizza components and the soft drink, they got back to me saying that the manager refusedand said we are a small pizza shop and that I should seek refund from the delivery company! After more than 10 calls where theyhung up on me, I ended up driving to the shop in the middle of the night to fight for my refund. Saying that this franchise isran by an unprofessional & untrustworthy manager is an understatement. My next stop is going to be Papa John's HQ to informthem about this disgusting branch. Read more

Best pizza place in the town if you are a pizza lover ,then you must visit this place. The pizza crust and the ingredients used... to make the pizza taste so fresh. The staff are friendly and efficient as there was almost no wait time for my order, will liketo visit back again soon.Their cheesy bacon stuffed bread sticks and garden fresh pizza are honestly incredible...The employeeshere are very professional and provide great service. Absolutely brutal time trying to get a pizza delivered. Ordered two pizzas and they only sent one out? Hard to miss an entire... pizza & pretend they didn't know when I called. Asked for it to be sent again and I was told 10 minutes. Its been an hour now.After no phone call I just checked outside my building to see if they were stupid enough to just leave it. SURPRISE! my pizzawas just left outside my building on the ground. ICE COLD. So it was there a while. Again the franchise had no idea?? Will notbe ordering anything from this restaurant again. It?s a shame how papa johns is good pizza and this franchise just ruined allthe experience. Get it together guys! Close down and find new owners! Worst delivery experience ever. Food arrived and was left in the lobby. They didn't bring it up. However the clincher was that... both boxes were covered in oil/grease and had leaked through both boxes. The pizza was soaked from the oil from the chickenwings. Do not order delivery. Been buying pizza from this location since 2018, if not earlier. Sometime in mid-2021, the franchise owner changed. This Alma... location is now probably the worst pizza I have had from any Papa John's location across Vancouver. I would say it's worse thanDomino's Pizza. The new workers simply do not know how to make a pizza. They make pizzas with the same consistency andtechniques as an Indian roti. The texture is rough and chewy with no volume. Half of the pizza is thick and the other is thin.We have pizzas with pepperoni baked on the crust. For our most recent order, we placed an advance order for 10 pizzas on June22 for delivery at 12:00 p.m. June 24. On the morning of June 24, I called in at 11:30 a.m. to confirm the order would bedelivered on time. I called at 12:06 p.m. then 12:36 p.m. The order didn't get delivered until 1:30 p.m. They might as well havedelivered the following week. As other reviewers have mentioned, this store doesn't have their own drivers and beg someindependent drivers to do the job at the lowest price possible. As a result, customers get the lowest level of service. Theworkers there lack any customer service skills. PPJ HQ, please send in a mystery shopper and check for yourself. It's crazy youcan let a franchisee like this operate under your brand. Read more

DO NOT order delivery if you want your pizzas within a specified time. We ordered for a work function and asked for delivery... between 11:45 and 12. The pizzas showed up at 1:30.
