Went in with fairly high expectations for authentic French croissants given the other reviews.. Frankly quite disappointed. One... can easily appreciate through cross-sectional photos that the product (both pain au chocolate and almond croissants) is soft, dense, tastes like a bread than puff pastry. Also tried the tiramisu which was all mascarpone with slight topping of cocoa withno layers/lady finger. Can't comment on the other baked goods but will probably not return to try. Read more

We love this charming French bakery by Kitsilano!! From the baked goods (and tiramisu) to the service, we keep coming back for... more!! Everything is a hit!! ????They have brioche and sourdough loaves that?s amazing to have for the week to eat by itself orwith a spread, and delectable madeleines that put you in a good mood ???? this is an honourable neighborhood gem that cares forproduct quality ???????? Another great french bakery with very reasonable prices and very good value. High quality pastries and bread and very yummy. At... times they will have cakes as well all reasonably priced. Here one gets quality pastries at prices lower or equal to coffee shoppasties. Read more

The best French pastries had in Vancouver. The outside seating is really awesome in a sunny day. Mocha was well tasted. You can... have pastries directly from the oven. Read more

It's authentic, it's fresh, it's incredible value, it's DELICIOUS, and it's all served with a lovely smile and a warm,... heartfelt, "Bon appetit." The tarte au chocolat is a thing of beauty, light and perfectly balanced. Coffee is great, too. Can't wait to try everything else, as it all looks amazing. Tarts are $4, and croissants are $3, but loads better thanofferings elsewhere at twice the price. They have sandwiches, too, and you know the bread is going to be incredible. Read more

Can't get to a Parisian bakery??? Look no further than Plaisir Sucré for your croissant and baguette ???? fix. Those... other"Trendy" bakeries have NOTHING on this family run business. No industrial, processed baked goods here. Everything is freshand made in-house. A true delight. Everything is delicious ????, and be sure to try the Ham & Cheese croissant. Say"Hi"toFabrice, the owner, a great guy with an even better sense of humor. Read more
