Absolutely love this restaurant. Congratulations on 13 years of service. I have been coming here for about 6 years when ever I... am in the area. Today I went with the burger and beer lunch combo deal. It didn’t disappoint! Best burger in Vancouver, perfectly cooked and paired well with excellent beer. The quality of food and service is always great here. Read more

What a cool spot Pourhouse is. Their happy hour is awesome! The smash burgers are delicious and all offerings made well. Their... cocktails are where they shine. The old fashions are delicious, martinis crisp, and anything they make is made extremely well.If you are looking for a spot to enjoy the scenery and have a drink, this is the place. Read more

Well, this pub definitely raises ‘the bar’! The place has a lot of cosy pub touches like vintage light fixtures and rustic... woodwork on the walls. We had dropped in for a quick drink and a bite, and had a drink and truffle tots. The truffle tots were aperfect savory snack. I got great advice on my drink. The staff is very welcoming. Certainly going back for food! Read more

Great food, friendly environment and very accommodating. The GM greeted us at the door and made a patio table for 5 of us. The... severs were very friendly and knowledgeable on drinks and food. The drinks are quite small for the price but delicious. The foodwas great! The bennys are to die for! Read more

Pourhouse was one of my favorites from years ago, until they stopped lunch service. Since I worked in Gas Town, I frequent there... for lunch. However, I didn't realize they started up serving lunch again. My most recent visit, the vibe was just as good as Iremembered. The food? It was a big improvement with premium ingredients and next level gastronomy. The 7 oz. dry-aged Pourhouseburger with a thick pork belly was savory and juicy. I asked for medium rare for the patty, and I got perfection. Food wasreasonably priced as well for what you're getting. As for the alcohol, Pourhouse focuses more on crafted cocktail and spirits. The beer list isn't as substantial as other restaurants nearby. The hospitality was excellent. The hostess and waitress gave anearnest service. Water was topped up consistently and small talk didn't feel awkward. Basically, it checks all the boxes. Theyshould bring back the order sheet that customers fill out, as that's what got me into Pourhouse years ago. I thought it wasunique way to order beer and sandwiches for lunch. Read more

Just went for a quick drink but what an experience. Staff was super friendly, bartender extremely knowledgeable. My drink was an... explosion of flavour, fresh with a delicate finish of absinthe. Would definitely like to go back to try their food menu on mynext trip!! Read more

Clay is really freakin cool. Service: 10/10. Sat at the bar for lunch and the bartender, Clay, was awesome. Treated me really... well and very knowledgeable guy. Check ins were great and frequent. Environment: 8/10. I dunno… I didn’t get it? The bararea is cool. They have a booth and then a half open kitchen - that was kinda weird and felt a bit dated. It’s brick walls andold school vibes everywhere else. Food: 6/10. This is where Pourhouse falls really badly flat. Got a chopped salad which waspourly dressed. The Pourhouse burger is a poor excuse for a burger…. Doesn’t come with sides by the way so expect to spend20 dollars more after a 20 dollar burger. It’s a cut of Pork with Beef and an abundance of mustard to try to cut it all… wasnot fun to eat. The buns were soft and soaking up the mustard to make it really hard to eat halfway through. Never ever get thePourhouse Burger. The Mac and Cheese with Brocollini and Bacon was FULL of water. When I say full, I mean it was spoonfuls. Tookover 15-20 minutes to come and was expecting it to be much better. Good service, good enough atmosphere… for the love of God,fix the food… and way overpriced. Read more

Visited Pourhouse with some friends the other night and enjoyed the experience. The onion rings, truffle tots and smash burger... were all great (also all on the Happy Hour menu). All the staff were really friendly and kept our drinks flowing and food showedup pretty quick. I would recommend visiting and suggest you must try the smash burger and onion rings... oh and add bacon to theburger! I docked them a star as I felt the beer selection was a bit limited for a place called the pourhouse. Read more
