Reviews for Prado Cafe in Vancouver, BC

This remains a Vancouver standard. But, a big but, it is not the leader it once was. In a way, it feels a bit like the slip of... Cafe Art - but not as bad. Everything is good, even very good, but not great. And, with its pedigree, the Vancouver consumerdoes and should expect great. I really liked my mocha, and really liked my Earls Grey Scone. Donuts looked very good. In eachcase, though I know there are better. Even the 49th parallel beans are now leaning more to the darker side where the originsled the way to well extracted specialty coffee. Floors were surprisingly dirty, even for this time of year. Windows could havebenefitted from a good clean. Etc. It doesn't have to be an upside-down Tulip, but this is a standard bearer. I gave it 5stars because it is still quite good, but I hope it works on being worthy of ten stars. Read more

Came by two weeks ago. Raining weekend. Cashiers were great and friendly. Muffins and drink in hand. However waiting for a pea... and avocado sandwhich for 15 mins. Guy making the food was walking around the whole cafe saying a customer's timidly. Then asecond person dressed as a cook was complaining about why it was so busy and just standing around. Telling ppl to hurry upjokingly. I get the relaxed vibe.. but use the pick up window properly. And maybe a number system is easier to get customer'sattention. As they forget what they order. Also prices are kinda up there. Read more

I crave Oat Lattes and Avocado Toast from my local Prado regularly. Today I?m having one of the most quintessential of Autumn... meals? grilled cheese and tomato soup! Read more

I ordered pea&avocado toast and eggs, and the pea&avocado they put on the bread was too little. I don?t think it?s a good value... for the money. The interior was tight. Good for coffee, but not for food. Read more

This place is super cute on the inside and the staff were kind. I got a chai latte and the veggie fiesta wrap. Both were so... tasty and amazing! Definitely a great way to start your day! Read more

I'm always a fan of places that can consistently serve Cortados in small Gibraltars with beautiful latte art. Getting the pour... right in a tiny cup takes skill and their baristas have it. Great atmosphere too and seating outside. Read more
