Unhygienic. I stood in line, and the girl working was cooking stuff in the oven/moving trays around/using oven mitts. She burnt... herself on the little oven. She stood there poking her bare hand (under the glove) with her gloved hand, and ignoring me.... 3minutes later of her poking and looking at her hand, she finally addressed me and went to start making a burrito. I asked her tochange her gloves because they a) looked worn, b) she burnt a whole through them, and c) used them for multiple things. Shesaid, "these are clean". First of all, I?ll start by saying I?m confident that most reviews for this restaurant on here seem fake. I have always loved... Quesada food since many years. I have had it all over Canada in many different cities ever since their early days in downtownToronto. I have a been a regular customer for years, so I was thrilled when I saw this location was opening since I live fairlyclose. My friend got me a generous $100 gift card for my birthday. So I was looking forward to redeem it here. The first day Iwent in, the employee said she doesn?t know how to use it, and apparently she wasn?t allowed to call the manager/owner to askfor help/direction. I said ok no worries, and asked her to figure it out and learn from the manager since I would like to use itin my next visit. I went back 10 days later, and they still couldn?t redeem my gift card. They said it?s the problem with thesystem. So they took my phone number and asked me to go back to pay once they had it figured out. This was very frustrating, soI contacted Quesada, and was really hoping for a solution, since I did want to use my gift card. No reply from anyone! Fine, Ilet it slide, giving them another chance today. I have to say today was the most humiliating experience I have ever experiencedat any restaurant in my life. Ever since I entered the restaurant, the two regular employees who served me before were speakingin their language something about me as if their owner already instructed them about how to avoid using my gift card, to give mea hard time, so I don?t return. One of the employees distracted me while the other one went inside to quickly call the owner andcame back. She told me I HAD to use another form of payment, and she did not even try to use my gift card. I asked to speak withthe owner. Came here based on the reviews, but now at closer look I think many of these are fake and vague reviews. Service was... underwhelming. No smiles on the 4 staff there. Tables were dirty. It's a less popular, smaller portioned Chipotle (Maybe 30, 40%smaller burrito bowl). 4 stars still because the flavour was quite good. Read more
Amazing taste, friendly service. Had the vegetarian rice bowl burrito. Had enough for 2 people.
Stopped by for lunch at this Quesada at Canada Place before my flight back home later in the day. I ordered a regular spicy... chicken burrito on flour tortilla with rice, beans, salsa verde (medium spicy), tomatoes, corn, onions, cilantro, jalapeños,lettuce, cheese, and cilantro-lime sour cream. The burrito was spicy and very flavourful. It was the perfect size for me forlunch and was reasonably priced. I sat by an electrical outlet and pulled out my wall charger and was gratefully able to chargemy phone while I ate lunch. The staff were friendly. The view of the harbor was also wonderful. Great burrito if you?re in a rush. The tofu burrito was delicious. Prices are pretty reasonable too.
