The skewers were good but nothing special. The pineapple drink was a neat ideas for photos and the chirashi was my least... favourite and I love chirashi usually. Read more

Friendly service with delicious fried tempura sticks. Chicken Karage is super tender and fragrant, as well as the 21 spice pork.... Jumbo ebi mayo is also a must get! Read more

The decor, the ambience and the food gives you a hint of being in Japan. The staff sings words in Japanese and is very friendly.... There where a mix of tourists and regulars siting to dine. The food was exquisite. Read more

a small unique Japanese skewer restaurant. Good variety in skewers. The only compliant is the fried truffle udon being too salty... in taste. Read more

Really lovely place with a fun vibe and great food. They have a lot of unique drinks and skewers and other plates to share. I... liked all their skewers but the wagyu, egg omelette, scallop, and chicken stood out to me! The dipping sauce is really addictivetoo. The cheese tofu is really more of a dessert than an appetizer in my opinion and is pretty interesting too if you wanted totry it out. The different iced fruit tea drinks are also excellent! Amazing service. Amazing food. I would love another meal there soon. The grilled corn was so good - I want to know how they made... it. Tako kimchi with the seaweed was devoured. My 12 year old child loved it just as much. You must try the hojicha pudding fordessert- I'm already going to try and make something similar for home. Thank you for a lovely evening. Read more

Very good customer service. Friendly staff and they come to check up on you regularly. Their food menu shrunk quite a bit, now... they are narrowing it down to mostly kushikatsu. The prawn, wagyu, and Camembert cheese is quite good. The imitation crab andchikuwa is not bad as well. The oyster and scallops are rather small and tiny. Such a shame some old items are gone. Seafoodbombshell was bomb. Their grenade was a pitcher of beer with many other shots on top, that was always fun. Read more

Rajio reopened? This is the best location to go for Katsu-kushi in Vancouver. It is also near UBC! ????Katsukushi???? Their... signature is these deep fried skewers. We ordered a variety. -????My personal favourite is the: ????Wagyu Menchi (juicy burgermeat) 9/10 -????I also recommended to try: scallops, beef, chicken and squid. Very tender even after fried. 8/10 -????Eggplant, lotus root, eel and tako yaki ???? but I wouldn’t try again 6/10 -????I don’t like Salmon, chikuwa andpork (very dry…) 4/10 ????Beef Steak Bibimbap???? Sooooo good??I love this dish better than the Katsu kushi! Beef cubes arecooked perfectly, there are minced garlic and seaweed flakes to flavour the rice. Highly recommend ???????? 10/10 ????GingerAle Specialty Drink???? Their icon watermelon fruit punch is gone… so disappointing. We ordered two ginger ale drinksinstead ????Blood peach and passion fruit ????White peach and mango Not sure how should I comment on the taste, sweet and bitterat the same time? Probably not my type of drink. 6/10 Service is excellant, atmosphere is great However, still a bitdisappointed to the new menu. Very limited choices, no sashimi or veggies. Price was reasonable, but I would rather go to Suikaor Raisu. ????Rajio Japanese Public House Read more
