The flavors from the dishes were absolutely delicious and refreshing! The presentation of the dishes were flawless. I loved how... delicate and crisp the deep fried squid was. The staff were attentive and kind. I will definitely come back to try the othermenu items! Read more

Great service and great food! I was only in Vancouver for a week but had to come here twice. The servers were very accommodating... to my grandma who is 94 years old, helped her get seated and made sure her walker was accessible. One of the servers was veryfriendly and was able to speak and make jokes with my mom in Cantonese. The food is definitely on the pricier side but thequality reflects that! Read more

?? Excellent food!! We were surprised because we were hesitant at first since from the outside it looks serious, cold and a... regular sushi place. BUT! Then we went inside and there it is! A cozy, warm with a very modern-industrial aesthetic. The spacewas maximize from booths to long tables. The bar is simple yet busy! A little thing I observed is that maybe the servers can bemore engaging to their customers, like asking how was everything or just visit the tables. We had dinner and we startwith: ???? the beef sashimi, very juicy a little salty but the lemon slices helped. Quality of the beef is good too! ???? i hadthe yugo sour, definitely delicious! A summer drink i would say! Very refreshing and the flavour didn’t overpower the whiskeywhich i love! The idea of having the ice at the bottom is appealing and smart! It made the drink cold without watering it down!???????? ???? we tried the smoked duck breast, a lot of greens; it would have been better if we have more kale noodles, generousamount of duck breast which we love!!!! ???? we also got the scallop risotto, the best risotto so far that i had; generousserving, if they could add more scallops I would say it will be the bomb!!! ???? lastly the shiratama mochi, perfect to wash thesavoury flavours in our taste buds! Black sesame cream is one of my favourite!!! All in all for our first experience; excellentfood, price were reasonable, generous serving (share for two per dish), cozy ambiance (inside) the vibe was good. Willdefinitely comeback and recommend this place!! ???? Read more

Decent Japanese restaurant. The sushi was good but for the price, you can probably find similar sushi at other restaurant for... probably $5 cheaper. The uni pasta was good and had a strong uni flavour. The risotto was a little disappointing as it was toocreamy and salty. Overall, a decent Japanese restaurant but the food was not good enough to warrant coming back. Read more

First time visiting this restaurant and I really enjoyed my experience here. The establishment has a very comfortable atmosphere... with nice décor which really gave off an upscale vibe. Staff were easy-going, open to questions and easy to flag down. Thefood! I came here for lunch and ordered a variety of dishes. I ordered the Sashimi & Aburi, Risotto, Carbonara Udon, and SalmonKamikaze Roll. The lunch items came with a choice of miso soup and mixed greens; I got both of them. The miso coup was probablythe most “disappointing” thing I had that day as the soup was too salty for my taste buds but the flavour was good and evenhad little tiny mushrooms. The mixed greens was fresh but I felt that there was a bit too much sauce on them. Enoughcomplaining, the main courses arrived and I have nothing but positives to say! The Salmon Kamikaze Roll was extremely tasty. The roll had nice crunch, a light hint of sweetness/spice and the ingredients (avocado, salmon, tobiko, kanikama, cucumber, spicy tempera) complimented each other. The roll was light and didn’t feel bloated from too much rice or sauce. The Sashimi &Aburi was great too. The sashimi was very fresh, soft/tender and easy to chew. The aburi was pretty good when compared to otherwell-known establishments that serve it. The salmon on top was torched nicely which created a nice char on top which added tothe umami. Delicious! However, my favorites by far was a toss up between the Tiger Prawn Risotto and the Carbonara Udon. Theconfit tomato based risotto was hands-down the best I have ever had before. The rice texture was cooked perfectly. The cooked incheese was nothing too overwhelming and just worked very well with the dish. The tiger prawns on top were seasoned perfectly andhad a very nice char flavour which just elevated the dish! The carbonara udon was just addicting. The udon texture was justright and the carbonara was not overly creamy or salty. Just perfect. Honestly, it was hard not to just wolf dow Read more
