This was first Indian Cuisine restaurant we tried in Canada on my wife’s birthday July 22,2019. We celebrated more than 5... occasions since last year. Since then on all our special occasions we just celebrate here because: They are so dedicated fordelivering quality food as per my expectations. Place is also fancy & at prime location. 1. Accessibility : 5 minutes walk fromSkytrain Station or a lot of paid parking available. 2. Taste : 10 3. Price : 9 (Little bit higher but worth) 4. Presentation :10 5. Service : 10 6. You bring indian restaurant to a new level ! I have to say this is the best Indian Restaurant i have tried. All the stuffs are... looks clean in shirt and tie, Very polite , Music not too loud. Today was probably our 4th visit here. Felt there was a difference in the kitchen staff because the food tasted different. Not... that it was bad but was different. We ordered for fish pakora and shammi kabab as starters and biryani for main meal. The fishpakoras had very small pieces. Shammi kabab tasted nice but biryani was more of chicken pulao. Also felt the portion size ofboth appetizer and main meal was comparitively less. Still music and ambience gave a homely feeling so overall it was okay. Read more
I've noticed some of the mixed reviews and that's unfortunate. However, based on my experience it's a great place to indulge in... way too much Indian food! I was there during lunch where groups (families and professionals) mainly opted for the buffet! Read more
It was past 9pm and I was eating solo after shopping in the neighborhood. I saw the sign & came up. I’ve been to the... neighborhood many times but never come to this restaurant. The place is very clean. I asked them to cook me real Indian food,not the one for westerner tastebuds. Maybe a bit pricey $19 for a lamb curry. But consider it’s cleanliness, service, foodquality & in the heart of downtown shopping district of Vancouver, I think it was very worth it! Will definitely be back !! Read more
I am surprised that I have been in Vancouver for more than a year now and yet chose to visit here so late. May be because of the... other reviews but I would love to give them a 5 star as it made me feel exactly how I would feel in a good fine diningrestaurant in New Delhi with perfect Daal Makhani taste. I am a vegetarian and that's what I ordered with an Onion Kulcha.Prices are a bit high but considering the location in the middle of downtown, I wouldn't expect less. ordered pickup for the curries and some roti, they were all not bad, good variety of vegan options. although i expected a bit... more for the slightly higher price. I will note, however, there was no option for inclusion of eating utensils or napkins. Thepickup order did not include either. service was extremely friendly, the restaurant looked very modern as well as covid safe.food was prepared at reasonable time frame. labels on the different dishes would be nice.
