Great food, excellent service and incredible presentation. The dishes had amazing flavour - just the right amount of salt. I... didn’t manage to take a photo of the appetizer (mushrooms), as the table grabbed to take a bit too quickly! If there isanything I’d recommend is for sure get 2 portions of those mushrooms! Been here many times over the years (hint: try the Sunday night prime rib). A bit touristy but offers a nice view right in the... heart of Queen Elizabeth Park. Came by recently for brunch and had the French toast with bacon and blueberry compote as well asthe smoke salmon Benedict. Really liked the potato latke they used instead of a standard English muffin as it gave each bite anice crispness to the texture. Perfectly runny yolk. Read more
Wow! I took my partner for his 40th birthday last night. I knew I couldn't request a window or patio specifically as its first... come first serve, but I asked anyways in my reservation online in the notes. Just in case. We were greeted at the front withboth hostesses saying happy birthday to him, and they put us in the most beautiful spot imaginable! With the most gorgeous view!I mean honestly all spots in there are amazing with views but ours was the best I think! We had absolutely wonderful servicefrom Peter who was funny and very professional. And the food and wine was outstanding! I highly recommend this place for anyoccasion. And will absolutely come back! Also it was funny because every table in there seemed to be celebrating birthdays soit's definitely a special spot that people take loved ones, and I see why! Great spot with a fantastic view, great service and good food. We had the pleasure of having James host us throughout our... impromptu lunch experience. The service was fast and attentive. James did a great job to ensure our experience was catered toour needs by checking for food allergies or dietary restrictions. Food came at a good pace without any prolongedwaiting. Overall the food was great. Flavours tied in really well per dish. Good portion sizes and visually appealing. I dowish the prawns in the dishes had more flavour, and the the beans and corn that came with the grilled prawn and crab cake couldhave a little warmed (was just under room temperature). Most of the stars are for the GREAT location with STUNNING views. Almost every table you seat on, it has a great view to Queen... Elizabeth Park and the city. The patio is gorgeous! People are nice and the food is okay but really pricey for what you’reoffered. Read more
