A lunch haul whilst on the move during a downtown exploring day, I totally dig this joint it's awesome and the heart and roots... of Gastown! The Cesar Salad and Taco's were phenomenal, an awesome experience. This is a great, true Canadian bar and grilldining experience and they have an awesome array of beers brewed locally next door. Stopped by for a quick beer while exploring downtown Vancouver. We had the Killer cucumber ale and the Heroic Red ale…both... were very good and quite refreshing after a long day. The interior of this pub is very interesting and brimming with history. Wewere lucky to get a table by the window with a nice view of the waterfront. It’s a short hike to the restrooms downstairs butwell worth it because there’s lots to look at and enjoy along the way. The atmosphere felt a little formal and not veryrelaxed. Read more

What a great place to chill. Great variety of draft beers and cocktails. The best thing is that it is full of people of various... age groups. Starting with hostesses to the waiting staff , all pleasant. Overall great experience. Read more

A convenient location, Waterfront, with a public parking lot next to it, and a rack for bikes. A building with interesting... architecture, 3 floors and they show you the brewing process, there are pool tables, the atmosphere to go for a few drinks feelsgood. As for the food, I ordered a seafood chowder which was not bad, chicken fingers were pretty good, another of mycompanions order a chicken burger and we were surprised that the chicken had hollow parts and it was dry. The location is very convenient, steps away from the waterfront station. The restaurant has cool decor and is located in a... classic Vancouver building. If you’re lucky you can get seated with a window view of the waterfront. The food was deliciousand had a varied selection. Read more

We had a great visit to Steamworks Brewpub on a moderately busy Sunday evening. We were sat immediately (after we showed our... vaccination status), and the staff were prompt and attentive. We tried the beer soup (excellent!), the seafood chowder (good),and the fish and chips (good). The preparations were good for everything we ate, but the beer soup was the standout. The soupportions could be a little larger, but that's my only complaint: they're good enough that I wanted more. We also tried theCopper Roof(?) ale and the stout on nitro. Both were good, but I would pick something else to replace the Copper Roof.Apparently we also should have gotten the pretzel. Read more

A great first experience. Beer, food, service, all A+ Sat in for food at 5:30 on a Friday. It was getting busy but we were... seated quickly and had both drinks & food faster than expected. From our booth near the door, I was impressed by the efficiencyof the staff keeping the tables moving. The beer was very good, as described. Food was flavourful, well portioned and pricedaccordingly. Service was excellent. It’s a large space with a variety of seating options and I’m looking forward to ournext visit to explore even more Read more

This is one of our favourite go to places. It has decent parking and a huge restaurant that is often busy. Make sure to make a... reservation in line to make sure you get in. It gets pretty packed. The bathrooms can be hard to find on the bottom level butit’s worth the adventure. We enjoy tasting the Kraft beer selection. You can get a gift card at Costco to save money. The foodwas good, not a huge amount of flavour but a nice selection of food choices. A great place with a view and history. So much tolook at and enjoy. We had an amazing server. There is a small outside dining section which is great in the summer. A must checkout if you like history and Kraft beer! Read more
