Had the dim sum. Most items were quite good but the rice rolls skin was a little too thick for my liking. The ingredients... within however was fresh and tasty. The prawn items were all really fresh. We were here in mid-September 2022 for dim sum. The basement carpark is rather small and narrow but good that they have parking... available for patrons. We didn't have to wait for the table that day and had a table for two almost right away. Service wasn'tthe friendliest, but it does remind me of being in Hong Kong. The rice cakes weren't what I was expecting, but it was not bad.They do not have crispy pork here but otherwise, the food was not bad - above average for Canada. Read more
Slightly above average dim sum but I didn?t give four stars because some of the items weren?t as advertised. For example, the... spare ribs with black bean sauce didn?t come with black bean sauce but made differently. The tripe with green onion and gingerdidn?t come with onion and ginger and was oily, which is not how it should be made. Visited for dinner with a party of 5. The staff were very attentive. We ordered the sweet and sour pork, beef, mixed seafood... chow mein, and shrimp and pork fried rice. It wasn't my favourite Chinese food spot, but the fried rice was really good.Overall, it was really pricey for the amount of food we ordered. The dim sum is probably better! Read more
Great Dungeness crab!!!???? It was 3lb and the price was $27 per pound(probably it varies everyday). Before cooking, the staff... showed me the live crab to confirm if it is the right size for me. I was happy to see the fresh crab and it took about 25mins tocook. While waiting, we ordered seafood fried rice and soup dumpling. For some reason, we could not find pricing in the menu.????But we just ordered. Seafood fried rice turned out to be the best choice ever. The amount of seafood is so generous, and Iloved the fish roe topped on the fried rice. The portion of the fried rice was also satisfying(good for 3people). Soup dumplingwas disappointing compared to the one at Dynasty. Dumpling was already damaged before we ate. ????So we could not enjoy the soupin them. However, when the crab was served, we forgot about the dumplings. The crab was deep-fried and it was full of crab meat.The crispy toppings on the crab was great. It did not ruin the natural crab flavor. I mixed the crispy toppings with the seafoodfried rice. It became more enjoyable. After the satisfying meal, we ordered Mango pudding that is shaped as a wholesome corn.Even when it was served, I doubted if it was really Mango pudding, and after a bite, I was like "How clever!"???? It was a realpudding and real Mango pieces were in them. And the milky sauce came with Mango pudding was also good. From now on, this placewill be my spacial go-to restaurant !!
