Went to Sushi by Yuji before COVID and was very impressed by the quality and missed this place for the whole COVID. Booked them... for a birthday celebration but quality definitely went down and portions are SO small, especially the sashimi. For the pricethey charge they can definitely afford to give thicker pieces... Spent more than 150 for two people but was still hungry after. Read more

Took out for dinner and every item I ordered was great! Botan Ebi (spot prawn) sushi was very fresh, full of firm meat. Shiro... roll was very dense with big chunks of tuna, salmon, Hamachi and Ika. Half roll was more than enough for me. One item stood outto me the most was chopped scallop gunkan (sushi that's wrapped with dried seaweed) - it was very tasty and I liked sprinkledtobiko on top, adding fun texture. 10/10. Pan fried Hamachi Kama had lots of meat. Some part of the meat was dry but when dippedin its sweet sauce, it was great. Read more

I love the freshness of all the food at Sushi by Yuji. We ordered a variety of raw and cooked items and all of them were fresh... and delicious. My favourite was the uni sashimi, it was so sweet and creamy. It literally melts in your mouth. If you plan ondining here it is wise to make a reservation as the place isn't very large and fills up quickly. This is not a quick in and outwith overly large portion sushi place so be prepared to stay for a bit of time and order a bit more. The quality of ingredients here is outstanding! I had the hosomaki negitoro with raw egg on top, house shiro roll, wild salmon... sashmi, and kura roll. Everything tasted so amazing and fresh. The food came out really slow, but that is because every dish ismade to order by one person. The price point is high, but is well worth it. Read more
