The tuna and salmon in the party tray tasted disgusting. As if they used leftovers for the party tray boxes and hope no one... would notice. Rice turns hard as rock the next day. Inari was wet and dripping. Shizenya next door is one of the bestrestaurants I know and this is one of the worst. Seriously do yourself a favour and visit next door. This is the best sushi place I have been to. I always try and bring people here whenever I get a chance. The staff are lovely... and the food is perfectly affordable with a focus on quality and taste. Would highly recommend this place. Read more
Ordered the sashimi salad and phoenix roll! They accommodated our dietary restrictions. It was awesome, would come again :)
Pocket Japanese with counter service. The food was tasty and fast service. It’s a great location if your walking downtown.

I’ve known the owner Peter for almost 20 years and followed him from one sushi ???? restaurant to another. Probably 7... restaurants over the years. He is always creative with his presentation and tries new things to be different. He also trainsmany people how to make sushi with his classes. So glad to catch him downtown Vancouver again. Go give it a try. Just be patientas sometimes the servers take time to understand. But his quality is great. He Peter is amazing ???? Read more
It's alright. With the most sushi options per capita in the world (outside Japan) I'd go elsewhere in the future but no major... complaints. Yikes, bad sushi and overpriced. $21 got me 12 bites of not-tasty and not fresh maki rolls, plus a particularly bad seaweed... salad. Not recommended; much better places nearby. Service was fine Read more
