We went to the Fountainhead Pub in Vancouver during a relatively quiet night and found the atmosphere great. The bar staff at... the time was attentive too who took our orders quickly after sitting at the bar. The bar staff know how to make a decent gin andtonic too so that?s a major plus for me! As a snack, we ordered the poutine, which was very tasty. Next time we?re in Vancouver,we?ll definitely visit Fountainhead Pub in Davie Street again! Read more
First off, our server was BRILLIANT and the food was fantastic. The 3 stars only is because we ordered the hot cauliflower... ?wings? and didn?t have the ranch or blue cheese because dairy allergies. The wings were HOT so we asked for a side of veganmayo (which was on my burger) and we were charges $2.10. Seems petty since we didn?t see a reduction for NOT getting the otherdips. ??????? Read more
The Fountainhead is a delight! I?m a regular there and let me tell you, the honey garlic cauliflower wings with blue cheese dip... transcends appetizer. It?s deliciousness is only matched by the wonderful staff. Read more
Wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars. My boyfriend and friend group go here so often, it's insane. They joke that... they all need to live within a radius of this pub. Friendly staff, great food, and - of course - booze! Read more
I am a regular customer and come to The Fountainhead with friends and family weekly. Each and every time the staff are awesome... and very attentive. We usually have Luke as our sever and he is amazing, attentive and great to talk to. The food is alwaysgreat and served quick and hot. It?s become our favorite place to go. Read more
We initially came here because Granville Brewery was celebrating the release of their new Sour Peach beer and we had two... complimentary drinks. Ended up eating lunch here and the food is absolutely amazing. The philly dip already has so muchsucculent gravy that you don?t even feel the need to dip. If you do dip, you get this incredible flavorful bite. We wererecommended to get the Cajun Chicken Clubhouse with only two slices of bread and that was such a great idea. The sandwich tasteslike it?s loaded with ingredients. The soup of the day was tomato soup and it had such a nice consistency and was so fresh. I?mnot a big drinker of beer but I was actually quite impressed with the peach sour. It had a nice flavor to it that makes it notas bitter as other beer. Would definitely recommend coming here. We had to wait about 15 min for a table because it?s patiodining only right now but the wait is totally worth it. The service is also top notch. Edit: We were recommended to get thedessert which I think was a cherry cheesecake with chocolate drizzle. It was so good! It?s not a heavy like New York Cheesecake.It s a soft, light cheesecake with what tasted like an Oreo crust. It was so good! And even though we were pretty full, it isactually a nice finisher to the meal. We split it between two people. The desserts rotate so it isn?t on the menu. Read more
Food is reasonable pub selection, huge variety of various beers, with good local selection. Staff are super friendly, served by... Sebastian on three out of four visits (super cute). Really jovial, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Read more
