Waitress charged us 20% auto-gratuity (on the after tax value) for a table of 4, and says it?s ?industry standard?. Waitress... insists she told us beforehand about auto-gratuity, but all of us at the table remember her coming to the table twice and notmentioning it at all. We also don?t recall seeing it written down on the menu. Worse yet, one of my friends literally had towalk up to the bar to get served after waiting 15 minutes. My other friend just didn?t get served at all. Used to be regularsbefore pandemic (especially for trivia night), never coming back again. Note to industry: Tipping practices are getting out ofcontrol, this is how you either turn off people from going out or get yourselves regulated. Read more

Great bar and super friendly staff! Best happy hour deals and prices in the city. It has an excellent cheap beer selection. One... of the last few OG establishments in the area, since it?s surroundings suffer the never ending abyss of gentrification.TheFringe truly embodies its title in being unique and un-conventional. It offers some great/funky atmosphere for the regularpatron. Easily one of the best bars to visit in Vancouver. Read more

Good place for cheap drinks and food. Rotating daily special of both beer and hi-balls. Casual service and atmosphere. If you... want casual this is great but it is not upscale by any means. Read more

Thrown me out of the bar for not tipping the bartender. She told me she she owed me $5 even after paying our bills. The bar was... good as it was open late night but the bartender is absolutely pathetic. We just had 2 drinks there and she called the bouncerfor not giving her a tip. I would never go to this place. A really cozy and cool place with friendly staff. There was live rock music and some awesome specials for the day like fireball... shots for $3.50. The nachos were so good we ordered the large ones twice. We also played some board games that we found therebut maybe they could be updated? my favorite part is that the place is pet friendly!! As long as your dog is on a leash they arewelcome inside which is awesome and rare in Vancouver Read more
