The General's interior decor, along with their good taste in music, with emphasis on delicious cocktails, make this place one of... Main Street's best sushi restaurants. There's so much funky pop culture art hanging from the sealings and walls, which is pairedwith chill hip-hop beats, setting the perfect mood for socializing over a tasty meal. As for their menu, their food isdelicious, best for groups who can share dishes. My favorites are their pressed salmon sushi and KFC Roll. If I have anyfeedback for their team though, I would say that some of their servers could be a bit more attentive with checking in, andanswering calls to make reservations. Pressed sushi is delicious! Unagi is a must try! Food is always great!!!! However it wasn?t that busy than the last time we were... here and tonight the sushi was served first (which is awesome!). we were able to devour the food and there?s no sign of ourdrinks still. Food was decent, atmosphere was funky, music was loud, server was nice once they figured out who are server was?which took... literally 45 minutes from the time we were seated. Experts at doing anything to not make eye contact with a table of six in theactual middle of the restaurant! I?m sure everyone thought someone else would take the tables order, but at 45 minutes you?dthink someone would take the initiative. I don?t think there?s any management presence whatsoever. We visited General Public yesterday, and enjoyed the experience. They have an interesting style and menu, which is pretty good.... I tried the Chicken Katsu curry, Spicy salmon crunch and Mount Fuji roll. The service was friendly, but the food was only prettygood. It all tasted good, but not so good that I would repeat the purchase. Read more
