This was a fun place to eat seafood for not a bad price. Definitely not a pretentious place, roll up your sleeves, put on your... bib and gloves, then dig in to the food that they pour on the paper table cover. I was solo for my visit, would have like toorder in half pound increments so I could sample more but can only order by the pound. Would be a really fun place to go with agroup and share though. Very good seafood here, I like that the serve the lobster whole and uncut so I can see what I'm getting. The sauces were decent... but very limited choice. Cajun has a nice taste. The chowder is good too and loaded with seafood. Read more

If you are into shellfish, The Holy Crab is definitely a great option to satisfy that craving. The menu essentially includes... boiled clams, mussels, shrimp and crab that are served with shells. Now get ready, this is Louisiana-style eating, so it's goingto get messy! Peel/cut shells off with your bare hands, that is part of the fun here (everyone at the restaurant were reallyinto it!). Now dip the soft meat into one of several sauces that go from mild to very spicy... eat & repeat! Their menu alsoincludes sides, among these a seafood chowder made from scratch that alone is worth a visit, but stick with the shellfish, can'tgo wrong there!
