The epitome of Italian sauce simplicity and impeccably made day-of pasta. To say it tastes fresh is an understatement and an... insult almost. Pasta with the same tenderness of a perfectly roasted veal loin cutlet, virginal each bite(it was a vegetarianpasta I had btw) that the sauce was almost extant. But the soft rosy spiciness of the vodka sauce greeted it and knocked on mypalates door like a gift entwined. Much recommended, very tasty. Read more
I almost never write reviews online but this lovely place in the West End deserves it. The pasta and sauces are just so... delicious yet affordable and the service is excellent - the owners are very kind and genuine people. Since I often come hereduring my lunch break I appreciate how the food is ready quite quickly too. There really is no reason not to try this place whenstrolling along Denman St! Read more

I have a few questions : 1. I wonder if the owners have ever tasted Italian food ? 2. Do you have friends and family write your... reviews ? 3. Does the term Al dente mean anything to you ? 4. Does extra sauce mean one more teaspoon of sauce ? Admittedlyyour sauce was so mediocre that I count myself fortunate that I only got two teaspoons of sauce. 5. Would it blow your budget toinclude more than one napkin in your delivery bag for an order of two pastas and a salad? 6. Are we suppose to slurp the pasta?Come on guys , at least include a plastic fork! 7. Do your mind that I fed the two dishes of pasta to a random dog in the park? Delicious authentic pasta, affordable prices, super friendly service. Perfect for takeout lunch or dinner, or you can sit at... their cute wooden bar. You choose your sauce, pasta (including freshly made) and optional protein. They also have yummy dailyspecials, so keep coming back. Denman needed a good italian spot and this is it! Read more
????creamy mushroom gnocchi OKAY. Seriously. This GNOCCHI was out-of-this-world delicious ???? I?ll never look at pasta the same... way again after this experience. It was soft but chewy and it matched so well with the creamy mushroom sauce (their number 2seller). Go. Try. This. Now. . ???? Pesto rigatoni . . The pesto sauce was aromatic but what really stole the spotlight was therigatoni. This pasta was chewy and was able to hold onto the pesto so well. The pasta didn?t get soggy even the following day,which is important as each carton comes with enough food for leftovers. It does make a difference when they get fresh pastaeach day. . ???? I have had the opportunity to drop in twice since The Sauce opened last week. I have tried the mushroom Cream sauce and the... daily special which was a braised rib tomato based sauce. Both were fantastic! The quality was on bar with what i would expectfrom a more expensive sit down restaurant. The quantity was also ample and a bargain at only $11. The owners are both behind thecounter and are super friendly and eager to help as they figure everything out in their first week of opening. Read more
Service was very friendly. Husband and wife team. Pasta was cooked well , but not enough flavour for me. It was a little... bland.Price was a bit expensive for me. Sauce was too runny too. Probably won?t be back. Read more
