Woke up today with classic food poisoning symptoms, which I won't detail, but it's bad. Been sick all day. My friend and I have... been going there for years, but something about the food has changed. We ate there in August and had upset stomachs the nextday, but we attributed it to just bad luck because Won More's food has always been so good and reliable. Last night, I ate thereagain and now I am truly sick. I came to these reviews and found out it's under new ownership. Something is not right aboutthis restaurant's food quality anymore. The only positive thing about Won More is that they are not intentionally defrauding customers, because the new owners know... nothing about Szechuan style Chinese cuisine. I ordered Twice Cooked Pork, a reference dish which most every Chinese restaurantoffers. The menu shows a spicy chili symbol. I received "barbecued pork" with sugar syrup poured on top. The other half of myorder they forgot. Obviously the 1st family that owned Won More has retired. Now its poor quality Guangdong (formerly Canton)style. Read more
Best Chinese food in Vancouver with an extensive amount of flavors. Been going here for 20+ years. Go on a Tuesday or Wednesday... if you want to experience the real deal. The original chef is retiring and he cooks the best ???? ???? Read more
I have to edit my previous review. I'm not sure if the chef changed but my recent order was nothing like what it was the... countless times I ordered before. The fried rice was tasteless and the spicy beef tasted off and the sauce was horrible. Thefortune cookies were also missing. After coming here for 7 years I don't think I will return after this recent disappointingexperience. Read more
We had a great takeout experience! The food was delicious and hot and everyone in my family loved it, even the picky eaters! ... The potstickers were especially good! The customer service was great as well - we had plates and utensils and everything thatwas needed. Thank you! Read more
Vegetarian stir fry was the best I've ever had. The shredded chicken rice and fried won tons were delicious too. The only thing... I didn't really care for was the spring rolls, they were a bit greasy. My kids loved the sweet and sour chicken. The staff wassuper! If eating in, call ahead and reserve a table. Read more
Friendly staff, right down to the cook. Really tasty, freshly made, very generous servings (we took a lot home as we ordered too... much). Our picky son explained what he wanted in general terms, and they made something up; he loved it, which is a rarity. Read more
